ISIS executes 31 people in 10 days

31 executions were carried out by the Islamic State during the last ten days of August.

The number of people and al Nusra fighters who were executed by IS rose to 31. They were killed in Deir Ezzor, Aleppo and al Raqqa on charges of “apostasy, fighting the Islamic State, dealing with the regime and impersonating IS fighters”.

The Islamic State fighters executed and crucified 2 men at al Bal’omRoundabout in the city of al Mayadin on charge of “apostasy”. Resources reported to the activists of SOHR in the countryside of Deir Ezzor that one of the two men who were executed by IS was charging of “fighting IS” while the other was a defected soldiers from the regime army.


They also executed a university professor on charge of being “a member in the Parliament, a State lawyer and member in the Baath Arab Socialist Party”. Thus, he was executed on charge of “apostasy” in the city of Mo Hasan in the eastern countryside. 2 other men were executed, the first one on charge of being a secretary of a branch of al Baath Party while the other, who are anonymous, on charge of being Pro- infidels and apostasy. 2 men from the town of Jdid Ekedat were executed on charge of dealing with the regime forces and distributing electronic chips of identifying positions.

In addition to, IS executed an engineer from the city of Hama after arrest lasted for nearly 2 months where he was got off from the bus with people from Alawites who were killed by IS while the engineer was dragged to the city of al Raqqa and put in jail. Later on, the jail was attacked by the warplanes leading to injure the engineer seriously. When his family went to take him they asked them to come back after few days but when they came back IS told them that they executed the Sharia Punishment on ho on charge of “dealing with the Nusayri regime”.

Reliable sources reported to SHOR that IS executed and crucified 3 fighter from al Nusra Front and a defected policeman at the Roundabout of al Bal’um at the entrance of al Mayadin city on charge of “fighting the Islamic State”.

The Islamic State executed a man from the township of al Sabkha in the eastern countryside on charge of “impersonating an IS fighter and robbing Muslims”, information reported that he was crucified.

2 men were killed and crucified by IS near the Public Park in the city of Deir ezzor on charge of “joining to NDF and dealing with the regime” while another man was executed at the roundabout of al Na’im in the city of al Raqqa on charge of “dealing with the regime”.

As well as the Islamic State executed and crucified 2 men from the town of Hatla in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor on charge of “dealing with the Nusayri regime”. They also executed a fighter from the rebel battalion and a commander in al Nusra Front on charge of “ committed moral crimes” in the village of al Hsan in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor city. They informed people that they would be kept crucified for 3 days. The people of the region said that the charges are not true and they are fabricated and ready. At the same day, 2 men were executed in the city of Tal Abyad in the province of al Raqqa on charge of “planting IEDs” in the city of Tal Abyad. IS carried out “ Had al Heraba” (the Sharia punishment of brigandry) on 3 men by killing and crucifying them in the town of Bza’a near the city of al Bab on charge of “fighting the Islamic State”.

The Islamic state executed and crucified 2 fighters from the province of Daraa at the Roundabout of al Bal’om in the city of al Mayadin on charge of “apostasy, infidelity and joining to the Awakening Movements”. 4 men were executed in al Shaddade area on charge of “ joining to Awakening Movements”.
