A demonstration held in Aleppo asking for establishing “Islamic caliphate”

Aleppo Province: SOHR activists in Aleppo knew that some Islamic factions and movements demonstrated in the city of Aleppo shunted “Aleppo wants Islamic caliphate”, where gunmen and some horses marched in this demonstration raising a black banner of “There is no god but Allah, Muhammad is the messenger of Allah”. They also took another banners carried by citizens and activists. The demonstration went to the neighborhood al- Marjah to al- Salehin, al- Ferdos and al- Haj Bridge then to the neighborhood of al- MashHad in the city of Aleppo.

5 days ago, SOHR received a copy of a footage where “the Shura Council of the two neighborhoods of al- Marjah and Bab al- Nayrab have declared its disavowal of all banners and that what represents them is “the clear banner”. The statement announced that “we as the Shura Council of the two neighborhoods of al- Marjah and Bab al- Nayrab have declared that the only banner that represents us is the “clear banner” that is the banner of “There is no god but Allah, Muhammad is the messenger of Allah”. We have declared our disavowal of all other banners and considered that the people who represent us are the Mujahedin and those who station in trenches who have sacrificed their souls to defend our land and to raise our flag; there is no god but Allah, Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. However, those who have stayed in hotels outside the country and taken the price of our martyrs’ blood do not represent us at all.”
