20 IS militants and 5 YPG fighters killed in the countryside of Ayn al- Arab “Kobani”

Reliable sources informed SOHR that 20 IS militants died in the clashes with YPG fighters, backed by rebel battalions and local militiamen, in the west of the city of Ayn al- Arab “Kobani”. The clashes have erupted since day before yesterday after IS attempt to infiltrate to the countryside of Ayn al- Arab “Kobani” using boats through the Euphrates river, where clashes have erupted in 3 villages near the town of Sheikh Tehtani. The clashes accompanied by the international coalition’s airstrikes targeting the boats and IS gatherings on the west bank of the river. The clashes also resulted in the death of 5 YPG fighters.
