2 militants in Shohadaa al-Yarmouk were killed by clashes in Sahem al-Jolan against Jabht al-Nusra and Islamic battalions ( including 1 field commander ).

It is worth to mention that the clashes in Quneitra countryside started after the death of 6 Islamic militants by an ambush by al-Jehad army, when the militants were on their way to join the clashes against regime forces in Quneitra countryside, the clashes accompanied by mutual bombardment from both sides.

In Marh 4, SOHR published that a Debate had dominated in the province of Daraa about the validation of pledging allegiance of Shohadaa al- Yarmuk Brigade leader “Abo Ali al- Baridi” or “al- Khal” to “Islamic State” after publishing a footage that shows the leader with group of fighters singing a nashid (Islamic song) that glorifies “Islamic State” and its leader “Abo Baker al- Baghdadi”. The sources informed SOHR that the Sharia Court in the city of Nawa had arrested 8 members of the brigade and sentenced them to 6 years in prison for “pledging allegiance to IS”, meanwhile the leader of the brigade had been summoned to appear before the same court and witnessed that he does not have any relation with IS. He also refused to fight IS  and to join the Sharia Court in Nawa.

In December 2014, the western countryside of Daraa witnessed tension between the Nusra Front and Shohadaa al- Yarmouk Brigade in the two areas of Sahm al- Jolan and Hit. This tension developed to clashes between the two parties and led to casualties on both sides, where each party accused the other of arrest their fighters. In that time, Shohadaa al- Yarmouk Brigade arrested fighters of the Nusra Front while the other side accused a fighter, expected to be from the Nusra Front, of assassinating leaders of the brigade.

It is worth mentioning that the brigade spread in Jomla, Nafe’ah, Hit and Ellan areas in the west of Sahm al- Jolan and in the areas located near the Syrian border with the occupied Syrian Golan in the west of Daraa province, where the brigade detained UN peacekeepers in the village of Jomla in March, 6. 2013, and said that they will not release them until the regime troops retreat from the area.
