A commander in the Turkestan Islamic Party killed in the clashes around the National Hospital in Jeser al- Shagour

Idlib Province: The warplanes carried out several raids on places in the village of Nihlaya, where areas in the countryside of Idlib have witnessed aerial bombardment since months that led to kill and wound many people.

 

A commander in the Turkestan Islamic Party died after he was wounded in the clashes with the government troops and allied militiamen around the national hospital on the southern western outskirts of the city of Jeser al- Shagour in May 22, during chasing the government troops and allied militiamen who were besieged inside the national hospital and who could flee towards the forces that were trying to advance from several directions in order to lift the siege imposed on the hospital.

 

SOHR published yesterday that at least 261 officers and members of the regime forces and NDF died in the period from April 22; the date of the start of attack on the city of Jeser al- Shagour and its countryside, until May 22. Among the death toll are 90 officers; the general Mehyi al- Din Mansor the Leader of the Special Forces in Syria, 11 brigadier- generals, 11 colonels, 3 lieutenant colonels, 10 majors, 25 captains and 29 first lieutenants. All those officers killed when Jabhat al- Nusra, Ahrar al- Sham, Jabhat Ansar al- Din, Jaysh al- Islam, Ajnad al- Sham, Ansar al- Sham, al- Forqan Brigades and the Turkestan Islamic Party  seized the city of Jeser al- Shagour in April 25, during the clashes around the national hospital in Jeser al- Shagour and village of al- Kfeir as well as in the clashes erupted from in April 22, when the regime forces were trying to advance in the area to lift the siege imposed on the hospital. In addition to, there are 300 missing and detainees of the regime forces and allied militiamen who were arrested in the period from April 22 until May 22.
