After their heavy casualties, the regime forces requests their supporters to join “the brigade of Dere’ al- Sahel”

 

The regime forces work on recruiting more members in their ranks after the heavy casualties in the past months since the beginning of this year, where leaflets have been published in the Syrian coastal areas calling the people to join “the brigade of Dere’ al- Sahel” in order to protect their areas. This campaign launched because there are 70000 cases in which people defaulted to join the mandatory military service and backup military service too in the provinces of Lattakia, Tartous, Damascus, Aleppo, al- Suwaydaam, Daraa, Hama and Hom. The leaflets published by the regime forces focus on regularizing the conditions of those who have not enrolled in the mandatory service or those who are wanted for the backup forces. The leaflets also focus on providing the volunteers salaries reaching to 40000 SP.

 

The Syrian provinces have witnessed the death of 7338 members of the regime forces and allied militiamen in the clashes with IS, Jabhat al- Nusra, the rebel and Islamist factions.

 

The death toll distributes as follows:

 

3836 members and officers on the regime forces.

 

2874 members of NDF, al- Baath Battalions and the people’s committee.

 

111 militiamen of Hezbollah.

 

617 pro- regime fighters of Shia sect of Arab, Asian and Iranian nationals, al- Quds al- Filastini Brigade and allied militiamen of Arab nationals.
