The clashes continue inside the administrative boundaries of the province of al- Raqqa, while YPG, backed by rebel factions, advances towards the area

Violent clashes took place between IS and YPG in southeast of the city of Ayn al- Arab (Kobani) inside the administrative boundaries of the province of al- Raqqa, amid advancement for YPG, backed by rebel factions, and takeover of 3 new villages at least. The clashes, which accompanied by US- led coalition warplanes on IS positions, resulted in the death of 5 IS militants and 3 fighters of the rebel factions while 4 other fighters wounded too.

 

The province of al- Raqqa has witnessed clashes between YPG, backed by rebel factions, and IS militants in east and west of the province in an attempt by YPG to advance and expand its held areas, where the clashes accompanied by US- led coalition airstrikes on IS positions.
