Violent clashes erupt in the countryside of Hama, while the regime forces shell areas in it

 

Hama Province:

The regime forces shelled areas in the villages of Atshan and Abu al-Gher in the eastern countryside of Hama.

 

The Islamic battalions targeted by several shells a regime forces’ tank near al-Masasneh checkpoint in the northern countryside of Hama. An Islamic faction targeted the regime forces positions in the area of al-Ziyara, information about casualties.

 

Clashes are still taking place between the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them against the rebel and Islamic factions in the northern countryside of Hama, amid advancement for  battalions and information reported that they could take control over a regime forces checkpoint near Me’erakbeh, and coincided with aerial bombardment on the clashing areas, where 2 fighters from Islamic factions died in the same clashes and information about casualties on the regime side.

 

The warplanes carried out raids on areas in the village of al-Msherfa in the countryside of Hama. The helicopters dropped barrel bombs on areas in the vicinity of al-Masasneh checkpoint which is witnessing  clashes between the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them against the rebel and Islamic factions. They also dropped barrel bombs on the village of Lhaya in the northern countryside coincided with raids on areas in al-Latamneh town in the northern countryside of Hama.

 

One of the guards of the Colonel Sohil al-Hassan known as al-Nemr (the Tiger) died of wounds due to shooting him by a sniper earlier.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has published several times, that Sohil Hassan, the leader of the campaign of the barrel bombs on the city of Aleppo last year, and the owner of the intense aerial bombardment theory during the military operations that he led whether in Hama or Homs or the countryside of Idlib, receives his orders directly from the President of the Syrian regime Bashar al-Assad.
