YPG continue to advance inside the eastern administrative boundaries of al- Raqqa

The violent clashes between YPG, backed by rebel factions, and IS militants are still taking place insides the eastern administrative boundaries of the province of al- Raqqa, where YPG could advance against towards in the town of Slouk located in north of al- Raqqa and seize new places in the area. The clashes accompanied by US- led coalition airstrikes and resulted in the death of 7 IS militants, most of the bodies dragged by YPG.   

 

Today, SOHR published that YPG backed by rebels have taken control on Tal Abdullah village located 8 km away from Salouk town inside al-Raqqa province, in an attempt by the YPG and rebels to advance towards Salouk in the northern countryside of Raqqa, YPG also advanced in the western and northern western countryside of al-Raqqa after taking control over wide parts of Kobane countryside, information reported casualties on both sides.

 

 It worth mentioning that 14 IS militants, including a Chechen and 2 Gulf nationals, died day before yesterday night in US- led coalition airstrikes and in clashes with YPG in the village of Aalya, which lies 8- 10 km to the east of the town of Slouk in north of al- Raqqa, where YPG could seize the village, information reported that YPG has dragged 12 bodies of IS militants, and that they found a large quantity of mines planted by IS in the village of Alya seized by YPG yesterday.
