After beheading them, IS seizes properties of a man and his wife in the countryside of Deir Ezzor

SOHR activists documented that IS has seized a house owned by a man and his wife’s house besides all their properties in the town of al- Bsiri in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor after 3 days of beheading them for “sorcery” in the city of al- Mayadin in June 28. It is noted that IS carried out  executions against 4 women; 2 of them had been beheaded while the two others were shot, for being “agents for the Nusayri regime”.

In June 24, IS seized 11 houses in several neighborhoods in the city of al- Mayadin east of Deir Ezzor, where SOHR knew that IS seized 2 houses owned by 2 sheikhs of Sufi school located in al- Tkiyyi Street and in al- Masaken area located in the west of al- Mayadin City, 3 houses and some stores owned by arms dealers in al- Jaysh Street, 2 other houses owned by judges near the Municipality Square and near al- Hasan School, as well as 3 houses belonged to relatives of some members of the regime forces killed earlier located in the neighborhood of al- Maharim, al- Ta’is area and near al- Rif resuscitation center. They also seized a house owned by expatriate citizen working in a gulf country. SOHR had been informed that the owners of these houses live outside of IS- held areas.
