Demonstration takes place in the neighborhood of Aleppo protesting on resolution of fining the stores in it

Aleppo Province:

Information reported to SOHR that a 17-years old boy killed by regime snipers shot in the neighborhood of al- Iza’ah in the city of Aleppo.

SOHR knew that citizens, most of them owners of stores, demonstrated in the neighborhood of al- Qarterji protesting on a decision adopted by Abo Amarah Battalions, where 5000SP imposed monthly on the owners of stores in the neighborhood who do not have property contract, while Abo Amarah Battalion denied validity of this decision, where they issued a statement that “after receiving abuses done under the name of Abo amarah Battalions in the two neighborhoods of al- Sha’ar and al- Qaterji as well as other eastern neighborhoods in the city of Aleppo we have to clear the following: we do not have any battalions of us in the mentioned neighborhoods, we had a battalion under the command of Abo Ja’far al- Mansour but it had been terminated months ago, then it joined al- Jabha al- Shamiyyah, after that a charter has been established under the Council of Shoura and Reconciliation that obliges it not to use the name Abo Amarah Battalions but it has not comply with this. We considered that the leases of stores concluded by the name of Abo Amarah Battalions are unacceptable and we disown it. We also ask the guarantors of this charter that stated on not using Abo Amarah Battalions name by Abo ja’far al- Mansour and to stop these abuses.”
