IS continues to tighten security in the city of al- Raqqa after the shortage of its militiaman

Al- Raqqa Province:

Loud explosions heard near the city of al- Raqqa caused by airstrikes carried out by US led coalition warplanes, no information about casualties so far.

SOHR activists saw that IS militants has installed surveillance cameras The “Islamic State” installed surveillance cameras again in the national hospital area and in the informatics branch near the governor’s mansion in the city of al- Raqqa in a continuation of what it started days ago, where SOHR published that IS installed the cameras in several streets and strategic areas in the city of Al-Raqqah, including al-Na’eem roundabout, al-Rasheed park, al-Amasi Street, al-Noor Street near al-Noor mosque, Tal Abyad Street and other areas in the city of Al-Raqqah, this installation, which is one of the responsibilities of “the Islamic State security apparatus”, came after the extreme reduction in “al-Hisbah” patrols inside the city and the near-full absence of  female members of al- Hesbah inside the city, in order to cover the shortage of “al-Hisbah” and the “Islamic Police”  members, where most of them were pushed into the battlefronts in several areas in Syria, besides providing protection for IS leaders and members. In addition to, IS has supplied continuously electricity to the areas and streets where the leader figures are, while there is no electricity in a lot of other neighborhoods of the city, because of the fear of breakthroughs and armed attacks that they may be exposed to, similar to what happened in the cities of al-Bokamal and al-Mayadeen in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, where commanders and leaders of the organization had repeated attacks by unknown gunmen led to the loss of tens of IS members, and also in case of any operation similar to the US paratrooper landing in al-Omar oilfield in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor in May 2015.
