People accuse YPG and its allied rebel factions of arresting 150 men and keeping their families under “house arrest” in Serrin

Activists and people in Serrin area in the north of Aleppo accused YPG and its allied rebel factions of committing violations in the town which they seized it by US led coalition support in July 27, after violent clashes with IS militants lasted for 20 days, where dozens of IS militants and 20 YPG fighters killed in these clashes. The activists and people of the area informed SOHR that YPG has arrested about 150 men and young men from the town of Serrin accusing them of being IS militants or cooperating with the organization, they dragged them to YPG-held areas in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo. The activists also accused them of keeping their families, most of them women and children, under “house arrest” in Hussein Muhammad al- Sheik’s house in the town of Serrin.
