The violent clashes continue near Ayn Isa, in the town of al- Sharkrak around Abdul Aziz Mountain

 

The violent clashes between IS militants and YPG from the outskirts of Abdul Aziz Mountain to the east of Ayn Isa city northwest of al- Raqqa, where IS could advance and seize villages and areas, which were being controlled by YPG, near the mountain. Other clashes are taking place between the two sides in the northwest and west of the city of Ayn Isa, where IS has retaken this morning the whole city and other villages around it from the east reaching to the town of al- Sharkrak in the northeast of the city and which IS controls parts of it, after counter attack launched by IS on the city where a lot of people displace before the start of clashes. SOHR knew that IS carried out counter attack launched by IS, where SOHR knew that IS started its attack on YPG positions in the area that expands from the south of Aalya on the outskirts of al- Hasakah province to the vicinity of Serrin area in the southeast of the city of Ayn al- Arab (Kobani) passing through the province of al- Raqqa.

 

8 people, including 3 children, women and 2 Kurdish fighters, died due to explosion of a booby-trapped vehicle in al- Rokbah area located on the outskirts of the province of al- Raqqa.
