The YPG and the Interior Kurdish Security Forces retake control over MashHur Foqani east of Tal Abyad

The YPG and the Interior Kurdish Security Forces were able to retake control over MashHur Foqani neighborhood east of Tal Abyad city in the northern countryside of Al-Raqqah Hours after local gunmen and IS infiltrators took control over the neighborhood, 4 members of IS were killed in the clashes, including the one who detonated himself after they killed 3 members of the Kurdish forces. Local sources reported to SOHR that what made the infiltrating easier is the neighborhood’s protests over the internal security force practice on the people of the neighborhood. It is unknown yet the fate of the IS members whom took control, whither they are hiding among the people or they were able to escape, while tens of IS members are still spreading among tens of villages in the area between the road of Aleppo-Al-Hasakah and the Syrian-Turkish borders.
