Extending the cease-fire an additional 24 hours and the negotiations continue over the agreement terms

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights was informed that the ceasefire in was extended in al-Zabadani in Rif Dimashq and the towns of Kafrayya and al-Fou’aa, which are inhabited by Shiite citizens in the countryside of Idlib, which began on Thursday for 24 hours, then the truce became a 72 hours, ending at the 06:00am Sunday 30th of August, amid ongoing negotiations between the parties in order to find solutions to some of the outstanding points in the negotiations about these areas, where there is a debate about the safe withdrawal for the fighters of al-Zabadani and Madaya in exchange of letting out about a thousand civilians from the towns of Kafrayya and al-Fou’aa which are inhabited by Shiite citizens in the countryside of Idlib, and that would be as an initial phase of the agreement, in addition to entering medical and food supplies to all of Zabadani, Madaya, Kafrayya and al-Fou’aa and to take out the wounded from the four towns and cities.
