The rebel and Islamist factions expel the regime forces from al- Qarqor and kill the military arm of Soheil al- Hasan

Idlib Province:

Jabhat al- Nusra, Ahrar al- Sham, the rebel and Islamist factions could seize the town of al- Qarqor and its hill located on the outskirts of the province of Idlib after violent clashes with the regime forces, where they expelled and enforce them to retreat towards Sahl al- Ghab. The clashes accompanied by intensive airstrikes on the clashing area and mutual shelling. The clashes also resulted in the death of the prominent field commander in the regime forces Ali Kan’an who is the leader of what so called “al- Fohoud group” and one of the most important military arms of the colonel Soheil al- Hasan, known by “al- Nemer”, in Sahl al- Ghab.

 

The warplanes attacked places around the airbase of Abo al- Dohur besieged by Jabhat al- Nusra and the other Islamist factions for more than 2 years. The helicopters dropped baskets on the two town of Kerayya and al- Fu’ah besieged by Jabhat al- Nusra and the other Islamist factions too. The helicopters also struck place in the village of al- Kriz in Sahl al- Roj leading to wound some citizens and causing damages in people properties. Meanwhile, the warplanes struck places in the towns of and villages of Joseph, Kafar Awayyed, Arnaba, and Kensafra in Jabal al- Zaweya leading to kill a citizen in Arnaba, initial information about missing and injuries.
