The troops of Bashar al- Assad’s regime lose their last position in the province of Idlib

Idlib Province:

Jabhat al- Nusra and the Islamist factions have just seized the whole airbase of Abo al- Dohur, which was last the stronghold of the regime forces in the province of Idlib, after violent attack carried out by Jabhat al- Nusra and the other Islamist factions taking advantage of bad weather and sandstorms that have struck the province of Idlib and several other provinces. Thus, the regime forces have lost their last position in the province of Idlib, while the two towns of al- Fu’ah and Kefrayya are still being controlled by the pro-regime NDF and popular committees. It is noted that the airbase was being besieged by Jabhat al- Nusra and the other Islamist faction for more than 2 years, and that it was out of service, where the regime forces and warplanes existed in it could not launch any military operations from the airbase.
