20 rebels and IS militants killed in clashes in the northern countryside of Aleppo

SOHR had been informed that at least 13 IS extremists and 7 fighters of the rebel and Islamist factions, including 2 commanders, killed  in the clashes where the rebels could retake the village of Tal Jebbin from IS. The sources also informed SOHR activists that the factions could capture 2 IS militants while 2 others beheaded. Meanwhile, the clashes between the two sides are still taking place in the village of Ihres, accompanied by loud explosion, believed to be caused by explosion of a booby-trapped vehicle, in the area, and amid advancement for the rebels and seizing wide parts of the village. Other clashes are taking place between the regime forces and allied militiamen against IS around the villages of Tal Riman, Tal Blat, Tal Na’am, al- Salhiyya and al- Sbayha in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, where the regime forces have tried to advance towards the airbase of Kwayres and reach to the soldiers besieged by IS inside the airbase. The clashes accompanied by aerial bombardment on the vicinity of the airbase.

 

A child killed while other civilians wounded due to fall of shells on the regime-held areas in the neighborhood of Seif al- Dawlah in the city of Aleppo. Meanwhile, information reported that sound of explosion heard in the regime-held neighborhood of al- Aziziyyah, no information about the nature and circumstances of this explosion so far.
