Fighters in al- Islam Army storm the courthouse in the south of Damascus and execute 5 prisoners accused of “cooperating with Islamic State”

 

SOHR received a copy of a declaration issued by “the courthouse in the south of Damascus” talking about storming the prison of the courthouse by al- Islam Army members who executed 5 prisoners accused of being “Islamic State affiliated cell of assassination” in the south of Damascus on the backdrop of targeting a vehicle carrying members from al- Islam Army in Yilda area yesterday. The declaration stated:

 

• The courthouse has dissociated itself from what al- Islam Army members did by storming the prison of the courthouse and dragging 5 detainees sentenced to prison for belonging to a cell of assassination affiliated to Daesh, then executing them.
• The courthouse has asked al- Islam Army to hand over all those who did this shocking action in order to be accounted.
• Resorting to such actions do not please Allah Almighty because it is disregard for Muslims blood, fueling dissention disrespect of the judiciary. Al- Islam Army and its command must take the responsibility in case of not responding to handing over the wanted.
• The courthouse ask all the factions and the people of the south of Damascus to restraint and not to act in any way that may fuel the dissension and used by our enemy.
• The courthouse pray for Allah to mercy the martyrs who killed in the criminal explosion that targeted their car by Allah’s enemies when they were coming back from the ribat points with the Nusayri enemy.
