“Islamic State” prevents the circulation of 2 categories of the Syrian currency

Reliable sources informed SOHR that IS militant have stuck poster on the walls of shops and houses in IS-held areas in the southern countryside of al- Hasakah, where it has warned in these posters the citizens not to deal or use the Syrian currency of 500 and 1000 categories, it is written on the posters “to deal with the new currency means to help the Nusayri regime in killing your Muslims brothers” and “ the Nusayri regime steal the Muslims wealth by using worthless currency, so do not help them in that.”
