More than 43 regime’s soldiers and pro-regime militiamen killed in clashes on Khanser – Aathrayya road the last 48 hours

The violent clashes between IS against the regime forces, backed by al- Quds al- Filastini and allied militiamen, have still taken place on Khanser – Aathrayya road in the southeast of Aleppo for 48 hours, where IS have launched violent attack on the area. They could seize some kilometers forcing the regime forces to close the road , which is considered the only line linking between the regime-held areas in Aleppo with its-held areas in the center, south and west of Syria. The clashes accompanied by intense aerial bombardment by the regime and Russian warplanes. Meanwhile, more soldiers in the regime forces killed in these clashes rising the number of soldiers who were killed in the last 48 hours to at least 43, information reported the death of more IS militants too. The first hours of these clashes, which coincided with IS attack on the regime-held areas of al- Sfirah, Tal Aran and Tal Hasel, witnessed the death of 28 regime’s soldiers, where IS started the attack by detonating 2 booby-trapped vehicles in the area.
