The Supreme Sharia Court of the northern countryside of Homs prevents gun silencers and promises punishments after the assassinations in the countryside

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights received a copy of the statement issued by the Supreme Sharia Court of Homs which is responsible of the northern countryside of Homs: “after the criminal assassinations carried out against some students and leaders of the Mujahideen, the Supreme Sharia Court of Homs decides, basing on the Islamic base, the special damage is borne to prevent the general damage, and the lightest damage is borne to prevent the heaviest one and that preventing evils is preferred to bringing advantages. Therefore, it has been decided unanimously the following: 

  1. Prevention of possessing gun silencers without the written consent by the Court of Supreme Sharia of Homs.
  2. The owners of these weapons are given a week deadline starting from the date of publishing this decision to disclose it and get approval of acquiring it even if they belong to a military formations.

    3. Every one transgresses this decision punitive steps are going to be taken against them and their weapons are going to be seized permanently.
