The transportation of Iranian forces to Hmaymim airport continue in the countryside of Lattakia

Reliable sources informed SOHR that the transportation of the Iranian forces to Syria is still taking place, where they were transported to the old part of Hmaymim airport located near Jablah in Lattakia province.

 

It is noted that SOHR published yesterday that reliable sources informed it that Hamaymim airport, known by the international airport of Basel al- Assad too, has been closed by the regime authorities. The sources confirmed to SOHR that the new part of the airport used by the Russian warplanes that move to strike areas in Syrian, while the old one used by the Iranian forces where thousands of their personnel and fighters have been transported to this airport located in Jabla area in Lattakia province. Those fighters have participated in the ongoing clashes that have taken place since days and which have been backed by the Russian warplanes in the northern and northwestern countryside of Hama, the countryside of Idlib and Lattakia’s mountains.

 

Meanwhile, 7 militiamen in Hezbollah killed in the clashes erupted in the northern countryside of Hama while 200 others wounded too. The death toll includes the prominent leader Hasan Husain al- Haj who is considered the second most prominent leading figure in Hezbollah killed in Syria after assassinating the senior member Imad Mghaniyya in February 2008.
