The vicinity of Deir Ezzor Airbase witnesses intense airstrikes and ongoing clashes

Deir Ezzor Province:

A loud explosion heard in the vicinity of Deir Ezzor airbase caused by detonating a booby-trapped car by IS in the area, followed by violent clashes with the regime forces and allied militiamen against IS extremists around the airbase, amid carrying out several air raids on the clashing areas and on the two villages of al- Mre’iyya and al- Jafrah.

 

A man from the city of al- Mayadin killed in airstrikes this morning; it is unknown whether they were carried out by US- led coalition warplanes or by the Russian once.

 

Clashes took place after midnight between IS against the regime forces and allied militiamen in the two neighborhoods of al- Ommal and al- Rasafah in the city of Deir Ezzor, information reported casualties on both sides.
