Ongoing attack carried out by the regime forces to retake areas in the countryside of Homs, while the regime authorities attack the prisoners in the central prison of Homs

Homs Province:

The violent clashes between the regime forces and allied militiamen against IS are still taking place around IS-held town of Mahin and the village of Hwarin in the southeastern countryside of Homs, damaging a regime forces’ tanks, information about casualties on its crew. The regime forces’ attack on Hwarin comes after seizing the nearby village of al- Hadath by the regime forces. Other clashes are taking between the regime forces and allied militiamen against the rebel and Islamist factions around the city of Talbisah.

 

SOHR activists had been informed that the regime forces stormed yesterday night the central prison of Homs throwing tear gas shells as a respond to a protest inside the prison because the regime forces took a detainee out of the prison to an intelligence branch yesterday.
