Tensions in Al-Qameshly city and mutual arrests between Asayish and the regime forces and NDF

Al-Hasaka Province:
The city of Al-Qameshly is still witnessing a tension which started hours ago between the regime forces and the forces of NDF against the internal security Kurdish forces “Asayish” , where intersecting sources reported to the activists of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the tension came against the backdrop of Asayish member’s arrest for a member from the pro-regime NDF in the al-Khalij neighborhood in Al-Quneitra, they arrested him after he entered the neighborhood carrying his weapon, then the argument developed to an exchange of fire between both sides, the shooting started after members from the NDF started opening fire on the headquarter of the Asayish in the neighborhood, and because of this tension the arrests started by both parties in the city. The Asayish issued a statement which the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights received a copy of it, saying:
“One of the regime forces members of the so-called security of the State had infringe a vehicle belong to the Traffic Rojava while he was drunk and opened fire on the vehicle, so our forces arrested him and also arrested nine other members yesterday evening, and in the early morning a group of NDF members arrested two members of the Traffic members and they set an ambush for one of Asayish patrols on al-Wahda Street, and then the clash took place between both parties after injuring one of Asayish members, so our forces arrested ten members from regime’s militiamen, and the situation remains as it is until now”
while other sources said that Asayish started arresting members from the regime forces on one of the Asayish checkpoints.

It is worth mentioning that the city of Al-Qameshly witnessed several similar situations, in which both parties carried out arrests, against the backdrop of tensions or verbal altercations between them in the city.
