9 weeks of the “truce and cease of fight operations” kills almost 5,600 people in most of the Syrian provinces

 

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights was able to document the death of 2407 people during nine weeks of the cease-fire in Syria, in places that are considered as truce areas, since the 27th of February until the dawn of the 30th of April 2016, out of the total human losses there are 465 fighters from the rebel and Islamic factions killed in the shelling and airstrikes by the regime forces and in the clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, in addition to 682 civilian citizens, including 140 person under the age of 18, and 111 citizen women over the age of 18;
–  including 8 children, 5 citizen women and 46 men killed by snipers, and
–  53 children,  34 citizen women and 111 men killed by shells launched by Jabhat Al-Nusra and factions on Sheikh Maqsood neighborhood in Aleppo and on other areas in Aleppo and on other places in the Syrian cities and towns, and
– 57 children, 55 citizen women and 213 men were killed in bombing by warplane and helicopters on several areas of Syria, and
– 22 children, 17 citizen women and 61 men were killed by shelling by the for regime forces on several areas of Syria, and
– 702 members from the regime forces, NDF and the gunmen loyal to the regime, and
– 71 fighters from Asayish, YPG and The Syrian Democratic Forces, and
– 102 fighters from the Islamic factions, Jabhat Al-Nusra, Caucasians fighters and other factions, and
– 369 fighters from al-Nusra, the Islamic Turkestan Party and other Islamic factions who were killed in clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

 

 

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 702 members from the regime forces and NDF, killed in the truce areas in several provinces of Syria.

 

 

Also in this ceasefire 369 fighters from the Islamic Turkestan Party and Jabhat Al-Nusra (al-Qaeda in Levant) were killed in the areas of the truce.

 

 

Also 71 fighters from YPG and The Syrian Democratic Forces, and 102 fighters from the Islamic factions and Jabhat Al-Nusra (al-Qaeda in Levant) and Caucasians fighters were killed in clashes between both parties in the vicinity of Sheikh Maqsood neighborhood in Aleppo, and in areas in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

 

 

And 16 members of the internal security Kurdish forces “Asayish” and YPG were killed in the clashes that took place between them against the regime forces and NDF in the city of Qameshly.

 

 

Also the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights was able to document the death of 3186 person during 9 weeks of ceasefire in Syria, outside the truce areas, in which the “Islamic state” resides or in contact with these areas in the provinces of Al-Raqqah, Aleppo, Al-Hasakah, Deir Ezzor, Damascus, Rif Dimashq and the countryside of both Hama and Homs and other areas, since the 27th of February until the 30th of April 2016, and the casualties were as follows :
– 33 fighters from Thowwar Suraya Front (The Front of Syria’s Rebels) and other Islamic factions, and
– 178 fighters from the Islamic factions, and
– 380 civilian citizens, including 72 person under the age of 18, and 84 citizen women over the age of 18, and
– 81 persons including 4 children and 2 citizen women were executed by the “Islamic state”, Islamic factions and other factions, and
– 926 members from the regime forces and NDF, and
– 128 fighters from The Syrian Democratic Forces, and
– 1298 members from the “Islamic state” organization, and
– 127 residents, including 26 children and 4 citizen women were killed affected by injuries they had before the start of the truce and in other circumstances, and
– 20 persons including two children and 2 citizen women were killed by Turkish border guards, and
– 15 civilians including 9 children and a citizen woman from Douma, Madaya and Darayya and other areas in Syria, died due to poor health conditions and the lack of necessary treatment and medication.

Also the Observatory documented the execution of 11 people by Horan’s House of Justice in the countryside of Daraa and Jabhat Al-Nusra in the northern countryside of Homs, and the northwestern countryside of Idlib, on charges of “dealing with the regime, providing the headquarters’ coordinates and planting improvised explosive devices”, and by the Supreme Sharia Court in Homs.

 

 

Also SOHR documented the death of a man in the detention camps of the internal security Kurdish forces “Asayish”, and the activists and people close to the victim in the area accused Asayish forces of killing him under torture, also a child was killed by a gunshot, and the activists accused The Syrian Democratic Forces of shooting him while they were trying to break up a demonstration in the countryside of al-Hool town.

 

 

The Observatory also documented the execution of 68 people by the “Islamic State”, including a brother of an opposition figure from Deir Ezzor, he was executed by the organization in the town of Tal Abyad in the northern countryside of Al-Raqqah, and 15 people including a citizen woman and two children were executed by the organization in the town of Hammam al-Turkman south of Tal Abyad, and 2 persons (a poet and his son) executed on charge of “apostasy” in the countryside of Deir Ezzor.

 

And 30 ISIS members executed by ISIS, including 26 members and security commanders, executed in Al-Raqqah days after arresting and investigating with them.

 

Also 339 members from the “Islamic State” were killed during the attacks and clashes against The Syrian Democratic Forces, YPG and the rebel and Islamic factions, including 140 members at least from the “Islamic State” were killed during their attack on the city of Tal Abyad and its countryside and on the area connecting Mabrouka with Ras al-Ayn (Sri Kaneh) and the outskirts of Ayn Isa in the northwestern countryside of Al-Raqqah, where they were killed in clashes against the Syrian Democratic Forces and in the bombing by the warplanes of the International Coalition and in the countryside of Aleppo and Al-Hasakah and in the south of the capital Damascus.

 

128 fighters from The Syrian Democratic Forces were also killed during the shelling and clashes against the “Islamic State”, where 47 members from The Syrian Democratic Forces were killed during an attack by the “Islamic State” on the city of Tal Abyad and its countryside and on the area connecting Mabrouka with Ras al-Ayn (Sri Kaneh) and the outskirts of Ayn Isa in the northwestern countryside of Al-Raqqah, and about 24 of their bodies were hanged by the “Islamic State” in its controlled areas.

 

 

 

also 959 members from the “Islamic State” were killed during the bombing and raids by the warplanes and the clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them in the countryside of Homs, Hama and Aleppo, 58 members of them were killed on the road between Aleppo – Khanasser – Athrayya in the southern eastern countryside of Aleppo.

 

Also 178 fighters from the Islamic factions and Jabhat Al-Nusra were killed during the shelling and clashes against the “Islamic state” in several areas in Syria.

 

Also 127 citizens including 26 children and 4 citizen women died affected by injuries they had before the start of the truce in the bombardment by warplanes and the shelling by the regime forces and the fall of shells, and other circumstances in several areas in Syria.

 

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also documented the death of 20 persons including 2 children, and 7 of them are still unidentified, all of them were killed by gunfire of the Turkish Border Guards when they were crossing from the provinces of Latakia and Idlib to Turkey.

 

 

Also SOHR received information about fighters and citizens killed during clashes in the Eastern Ghouta and several other Syrian areas, but SOHR was not able to verify this information.
