Jaysh al-Islam announces its approval to the demands of Eastern Ghouta people to stop fighting against Rahman Corps and its supporting factions

Jaysh al-Islam issued a statement about the current events in the Eastern Ghouta, it says:
“In response to the desire and initiative of the people in the besieged Eastern Ghouta which was presented on Friday 29/04/2016 For the sake of stopping the bloodshed, and to redirect the guns to its right direction, we declared to them our approval on this initiative to ceasefire, while -back then- the Corps responded to the people’s initiative by mocking and contemning the blood and focusing to divide Ghouta, and to prove that; al-Rahman Corps’ commander Abu-Nasr said: “Douma is more than enough for Jaysh al-Islam and we will not accept anything than the current situation and we will keep things as it is now, and we don’t mind for some civilians-only to get out”, and then the committee concerned with the initiative made changes on it and provided it to us and we approved it again, and we in Jaysh al-Islam clarify to our people in Ghouta especially and in Syria in general that Jaysh al-Islam have immediately responded to the initiative of the Syrian Muslim Council, and have issued a statement No. 6/2016 at 23 Rajab 1437 corresponding to 30 April 2016, but we did not hear an answer from the other party except for the gun-in-the-back of the mujahideen, and their retreat from the fronts and cutting off the supply routes, they even have gone far in their aggression and their military decision and the siege and capture of mujahideen, in collaborating with their ally Jaysh al-Fustat, in addition to killing citizens by sniper without taking in consideration the sanctity of the blood, and when the brothers in Rahman Corps announced yesterday their readiness for a cease-fire, this announcement ignored stating the stand of Jabhat Al-Nusra and Fajr al-Umma, the allies in tyranny, and did not provide for the determinants of the solution, and then members of the Corps broke into al-Ebb area at dawn, Our Sharia and revolutionary responsibilities call us once again to confirm our acceptance of the initiative of ceasefire presented by the people of Ghouta, which stipulates the following:

 

• opening all public roads and abolition of all armed manifestations from the liberated areas (barricades, snipers, checkpoints…)

 

• entering food and medical personnel and moving the wounded to hospitals immediately, and no one will stop any ambulances or the civil defense, and make things easier for them.

 

• each faction will return to its place as it was the day before last Wednesday, 04/27/2016.

 

• release those who are in custody from both parties and not to harm or stand in the way of the Mujahideen’s families.

 

• Forming a 3-persons-committee one from each party to receive and deliver headquarters, weapons and property.

 

• Returning headquarters, tunnels and property to each faction as they were before Wednesday.

 

• forming a committee to look in the killing cases in both parties consisting of two judges from each party, and both parties agree on a weighted judge supervised by the Unified judiciary.

 

• The HQs which were disputed before Wednesday will be decided by the Judiciary Committee.

 

And we say to all our brothers fighters in al-Rahman Corps and their allies, that their brothers in Jaysh al-Islam are keen on your blood as they do for themselves, and we call you not to respond to orders that tells you to shoot your brothers and to shed their blood, and that the fronts against al-Assad gangs are ahead of us all, and let these Assad gangs know that we are able -God willing- to solve our misunderstandings and we are able to gather our ranks to prevent their aggression and to put it down.””
