Rahman Corps and Islamic factions regain most of Beit Sawa town and kill a senior leader in Jaysh al-Islam, and the fate of some of the town’s citizens is unknown

Abu Bakr al-Zubayr, a senior leader in Jaysh al-Islam was killed during the shelling and clashes against Rahman Corps which is supported by several Islamic factions in the Eastern Ghouta, the clashes have been taking place for days between both parties, both parties used heavy weapons, killing and injuring tens of both parties, while the activists of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights were informed that Rahman Corps and its supporting Islamic factions had regained control of most of Beit Sawa town, after advancement by Jaysh al-Islam into it at the dawn of yesterday and controlling large parts of it, and local sources said that the fate of several citizens is still unknown after the factions were able to get Jaysh al-Islam out of most of the town, while two citizens were killed by gunshot during the clashes between both parties, also activists accused Jaysh al-Islam of targeting a medical point in the town using heavy weapons.
