The regime forces reopen the supply road between Homs and Palmyra and explosion in the city of Homs

Homs Province:
Violent clashes are taking place between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the organization of “Islamic state” in the vicinity of the fields of Shaer and Jazl in the eastern countryside of Homs, and information about casualties among both parties, while two explosions were heard in al-Khedri Street in the neighborhood of Karm al-Loz in Homs city, caused by throwing two grenades by a man, which killed a citizen woman and injured others.

In a related development violent clashes are taking place in the vicinity of the abandoned battalion near T4 airbase on the road of Homs – Palmyra, between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the “Islamic State”, after nearly three days of cutting the strategic supply road to Palmyra in the eastern countryside of Homs by members from the organization, and by controlling the battalion; the regime forces were able to re-open the road connecting Palmyra and Homs, and confirmed reports about casualties in the ranks of both parties.
