More casualties in Urem al-Kubra massacre raise to 34 -including 12 children and women- the number of people who were killed during the first preliminary shelling in the battle of the international road in Idlib and Aleppo

Aleppo Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the rescue teams, residents, and the civil defense teams continuing the search under the rubble of destruction caused by the aerial bombardment on the western countryside of Aleppo, where the search for bodies and survivors under the rubbles of Urem al-Kubra town continues, which witnessed a massacre carried out by warplanes, while the death of more civilians has raised the number of casualties to at least 22, including a displaced man, his wife, and their 5 children, while rescue teams were able to recover citizens and children from under the ruble during the search operations which have been taking place since sundown on Friday, the 10th of August 2018,  where it rose to 34 citizens at least, the number of casualties who were killed in the most violent shelling in months and the bloody day of shelling of the battle of the international roads, they are 22 citizens including a man, his wife and their 5 children killed in Orem al-Kubra massacre carried out by warplanes, 9 citizens including 1 child and 3 women were killed in Khan Shaykhun massacre, and 3 citizens including 2 children were killed in the aerial bombardment on al-Tah town, and the intense aerial bombardment in both areas caused more than 100 people to go missing and injured, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, and due to the presence of missing people under the ruins of destruction whose fate is not known yet, also the shelling caused destruction and serious damage to the infrastructure and property of citizens.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago that this cautious calm which followed shelling by the regime forces, comes to restore the entire road of Latakia-Aleppo, Aleppo-Damascus, and opening the road to Aleppo-Gaziantep, in order to activate and facilitate the movement, also the cautious calm today comes in conjunction with entering a new shipment of cement blocks and prefabricated walls by Turkish forces, via the crossing between Turkey and Syria, where the Turkish Forces are using them to fortify their military points and surrounding them with blocks and cement walls, in caser of sudden attacks that may be targeting them and to increase the protection of their members, while the raids acme after the regime forces brought massive military reinforcements of forces and soldiers to the countryside of Hama, Idlib, and Latakia, in preparation for a military operation, this aerial bombardment comes less than a month after regime’s airstrikes by helicopters targeted areas in the western countryside of Jisr al-Shughur, at the beginning of the second of July 2018, following a violent attack by the Islamic factions on the regime forces in the northern Mountains of Latakia, adjacent to the western countryside of Idlib, and intersected sources suggested to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that these strikes on the southern sector of Idlib, and the return of the aerial bombardment to the area, were the beginning of a military operation by the regime forces and their allies of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities in Idlib Province, after an operation took place months ago during which they controlled tens of villages and towns in the southern countryside of Idlib with the support of Russian Forces, and reached the eastern countryside of Idlib and Abu al-Duhur airbase, before the Turkish Forces were deployed in several areas in Idlib province, the northern and northwestern countryside of Hama, and areas connected to the foothills of Latakia mountains.
