Despite demanding to “lift the security grip on Daraa”, the regime forces carry out raids in a town in its countryside and arrest people on charges of “belonging to ISIS cells and Tahrir al-Sham”

Daraa Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights was informed by reliable sources that the regime forces carried out a raids and arrests in Atman town in the mid-sector countryside of Daraa, where several people were arrested on charges of being “ISIS cells” and “cells of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham”, while these raids and arrests come about a month after the “settlements” that took place in the town, and despite the protest of people demanding to lift the security grip off of Daraa, and the most recent of which was in Daraa al-Balad in Daraa city in which a faction leader who chose the “reconciliations and settlements”, also the Syrian Observatory learned that the regime forces are “settling the situation” of fighters and civilians in Yarmouk Basin area and the area of the western countryside of Daraa, and investigations are being carried out with civilians and fighters, while each fighter or defected person is required to hand over the weapon in his possession to the regime forces, also the regime forces are investigate the mass graves found in the former areas of control of Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 26th of August 2018 that the regime forces are not content with just a violation or a breach, but they continue to carry out their violations before the guarantors, unconcerned to any reaction against them, where the Syrian Observatory monitored that the regime forces carried out more arrests against the fighters of the “reconciliation” factions and against citizens in areas in Daraa countryside, along with their continued processes to impose royalties and looting the possessions and contents of the houses of the villages and towns of Daraa countryside, which resulted in escalating the ctizens’ resentment against the practices of the regime and its daily violations against the citizens of insulting, arrests, looting, thefts and imposing royalties, and what increased the residents’ resentment is the fact that the Russian military police deliberately ignore these violations and breaches, and that they are indifferent to the guarantees they presented during the negotiations with the representatives of Daraa province, and what make things worse is the fact that the regime forces transported tens of fighters of “reconciliation” factions to the contact lines with the factions in both Hama and Idlib.

The Syrian Observatory monitored the regime forces transferring tens of fighters of the faction, which remained and chose the “settlements and reconciliations” with the regime forces in Daraa province to the battlefronts in Idlib province, which is expected to witness a grand battle in the coming days, it also monitored that the factions which carried out “reconciliation” with the regime forces, sent tens of their fighters to fight in the side of the regime forces against the “Islamic State” organization, in Rif Dimashq Desert, at the administrative border with Al-Suwaidaa countryside, after they fought previously in the side of Jaysh Khaled Ibn Al-Waleed which pledges allegiance to the “Islamic State” organization, in Yarmouk Basin in the western sector of Daraa countryside, where these factions are fighting in the side of the regime forces in the vicinity of Tlul Al-Safa area.
