The regime forces shell a number of areas in the northern sector of Hama countryside violating the Russian – Turkish truce once again

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the regime forces returned to carry out breaches, which targeted the areas of the Turkish – Russian truce, where the Syrian Observatory monitored shelling which targeted areas in the lands surrounding Al-Lataminah town, and other areas in the vicinity of M’aarkaba village, in the northern sector of Hama countryside, which caused material damage, without information about casualties, while this shelling comes in the wake of silence that prevailed the areas where the truce is applied in the provinces of Idlib, Hama, Aleppo and Lattakia, which was coincided with demonstrations in tens of areas, where the Syrian Observatory monitored hours ago, that thousands of citizens continue for the 5th consecutive Friday their demonstrations in cities, towns and villages under the control of the rebel and Islamic factions, Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, and “jihadist groups”, where the Syrian Observatory monitored demonstrations today Friday, the 28th of September 2018, in Hama, Idlib, and Aleppo, these demonstrations coincide with the split over the approval of the Russian – Turkish agreement to establish a demilitarized area; and prevent the regime from executing the military operation for which they had mobilized during the past weeks, or oppose it, and massive demonstrations took place in tens of cities, towns, and villages, where demonstrations took place in Maarrat, al-Nu’man, Khan Shaykhun, Kafr Nubl, Kafruma, Talmanas, al-Ghadqa, Marshourin, Ariha, Saraqib, Jisr, al-Shughur, Ma’arrat Mesrin, Marrat-Hirme, Bennesh, Jarjanaz, Mdaya, Harbanush, al-Tah, Ihsim, al-Hbit, Armanaz, al-Dana, Kafrsajna, Salqeen, Harem, Kelli, Marshmarin, Hish, Abu Dafneh, Sarmada, Haas, and Idlib city in Idlib Province, and Qal’aat al-Madiq, Kafr Nabudah, KafrZitta, al-Lataminah, al-Twyna, al-Sharia, Shir Magar, Qastun, al-Amiqah, Zayzoun, Jabal Shashabo, Bab al-Taqa, al-Hamra, al-Hwyja, and Hwaiz in Hama province, and al-Atareb, Ewijel, Kafrnuran, Afrin, Jarabulus, Batbu, Azaz, Sejju, Marea, Bza’ah, al-Bab and Abyan in the countryside of Aleppo.

The Syrian Observatory also published hours ago, that it continues to monitor the areas of the Syrian-Turkish truce in the provinces of Idlib, Aleppo, Hama, and Latakia, as well as the areas to be disarmed which extend in the four provinces in a form of 15-km-wide strip, will witness the withdrawal of the regime forces and their allies in addition to the rebel and Islamic factions and “jihadi” groups from half of the width of this strip, of which the “jihadi” groups control over 70% of its area, where activists of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the rebel and Islamic factions and the “jihadist” groups not implementing any withdrawals, not with light, heavy, or even medium weapons, as these factions continue to guard their points, switch guard shifts in the areas itself, monitor the contact lines with the regime forces and their allies, and the Syrian Observatory’s activists have not monitored any movements by the regime forces in terms of withdrawing from these to-be-disarmed areas according to a Russian – Turkish agreement.
