The regime forces and their allies continue to advance at the expense of the organization in Rif Dimashq Desert

Rif Dimashq Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the regime forces and heir allies of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities are continuing their attacks on positions of the “Islamic State” organization in the area of Tlul Al-Safa, the last remaining stronghold of the “Islamic State” organization in Rif Dimashq Desert which is located at the administrative border with Al-Suwaidaa, in order to force it to surrender and end its presence in the area, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored clashes between the both parties in the area of the rocky cliffs amid new advancements by the regime forces and their allies in the area, under a cover of aerial and rocket shelling, where the skies of the area are witnessing overflights of warplanes which carry out raids on the clash areas every now and then, amid heavy shelling by the regime forces on the same areas, and the Syrian Observatory published this morning, that the desert of Rif Dimashq at the administrative border with al-Suwaidaa is witnessing the continuation of military operations of the regime forces and their allies of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities at the expense of the “Islamic State” organization, where the violent clashes continues between both parties in Tlul al-Safa area, accompanied by bombing and targeting in constant attempts by the regime forces and their allies to take control of more areas and sites and end the presence of the Organization within its last enclave in the area, while the Syrian Observatory documented more casualties in the ranks of both parties as the military operations continue there, where  it rose to 298, the number of ISIS members who have been killed in the bombings, shelling and clashes since the 25th of July 2018, while it rose to at least 151, the number of members of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them who were killed in the same period, including members of the Lebanese Hezbollah among them a Lebanese commander as well as officers of the regime forces with varying ranks the highest of which are Major Generals, and the clashes also resulted in the injury of hundreds others with varying severity, also the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of about 142 citizens including 38 women and children, who were executed or shot by the “Islamic State” organization, in addition to the killing of 116 people, the majority of whom were of the gunmen villagers who carried the gun to repel the organization’s attack, and a 19-year-old boy was executed by ISIS after being kidnapped along with about 30 others, and a woman died when she was held by ISIS in conditions that still vague so far.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday that the shelling and clashes continue in areas in Tlul al-Safa area, located within the Rif Dimashq desert at the administrative border with al-Suwaidaa, between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, the Lebanese Hezbollah, and the Palestinian Liberation Party, against the “Islamic State” organization, as part of the continuous military operations by the regime forces and their allies in order to end the presence of the organization in that area and force it to surrender, where the clashes are accompanied by continuous shelling targeting sites of the Organization in Tlul al-Safa, and the Syrian Observatory published during the past hours that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the fighting is still continuing in Rif Dimashq Desert between the members of the “Islamic State” organization against the regime forces backed by armed militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities and the Lebanese Hezbollah, and the clashes are concentrated in Tlul Al-Safa area which is located at the administrative border of Rif Dimashq Desert with Al-Suwaidaa Desert, while the clashes were accompanied by exchange of targeting in the contact areas between the both parties, amid shelling by the regime forces on places of the rugged area of Tlul Al-Safa, while the clashes resulted in the fall of more human losses in the ranks of the both parties.
