The International Coalition’s Forces violently shell ISIS last enclave in the east of the Euphrates by tens of missiles and raids and more than 20 fighters were killed in the recent 24 hours in the violent fighting

Deir Ezzor Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the International Coalition returned to carry out renewed rocket and artillery shelling on the controlled areas of the “Islamic State” organization within the last enclave left under its control in the east of the Euphrates River, where the Syrian Observatory monitored heavy shelling which targeted positions of the organization, without information about casualties so far, while the heavy shelling is coincided with the continued violent clashes between the Syria Democratic Forces supported by the International Coalition against the members of the “Islamic State” organization, in the areas of Al-Susa and the vicinity of Al-Shajlah, al-Marashdah and the vicinity of Hajin, amid intensive exchange of targeting between the both parties, and intersected sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the violent shelling escalated greatly today, Tuesday the 9th of October 2018, were it targeted the controlled areas of the organization by tens of missiles fired from the Coalition’s base in Al-Omar Oilfield, and by tens of shells and missiles fired by the SDF as well as successive raids by the International Coalition’s warplanes on the area, while reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the passing of 10 damaged Hummer vehicles and bulldozers was monitored during the past 48 hours, due to mine explosions in them, where they were transported from the fronts and contact lines with the organization to the controlled areas of the SDF and Coalition, the SOHR also monitored the passing of 10 Hummer vehicles coming from the battle fronts with the organization, and the sources confirmed that a vehicle of the SDF was at the head lightening its headlamps while the Coalition’s vehicles have their lights off, and the sources suggest that the drivers of the Hummer vehicles were putting on night vision goggles.

The Syrian Observatory monitored the fall of more human losses, where 7 fighters at least of the SDF were killed in the past 24 hours, while at least 13 members of the organization were killed, raising to at least 267, the number of ISIS members who were killed in the ongoing clashes and the Coalition’s strikes, while 139 members at least have been killed of the Syria Democratic Forces since the start of military operations on the 10th of September 2018, one of whom has served as a field commander in Deir Ezzor Military Council of the Syria Democratic Forces, while the death toll is expected to increase due to the presence of information about other casualties as well as the presence of injured cases in serious conditions.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published days ago, that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored an International Coalition column of 6 Hummer vehicles and 4 trucks loaded with missiles and logistic materials; heading towards areas adjacent to the enclave controlled by the “Islamic State” organization, while the clashes continue between the Syria Democratic Forces and members of the Organization in areas of al-Shajla and al-Susah in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, as part of the continuous attempts by SDF to advance in the area, while the organization seeks to inflict as many casualties as possible and prevent the International Coalition and SDF from achieve more advancement, where they aims to end the presence of the Organization east of Euphrates through controlling its last enclave, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also monitored in the past 72 hours, in pictures and videos, that the International Coalition have brought military groups of the US Marin Corps, to the vicinity of Hajin, where they were brought by a military plane that landed near Hajin area, and there were soldiers of the International Coalition in addition to military equipment aboard it, in conjunction with the ongoing battles in the area and the counterattacks of the organization through which it aims to inflict the largest possible number of casualties in the ranks of its opponents, amid information about the fall of more human losses as a result of the clashes in the areas of Al-Susah and Al-Baghuz, also the Syria Democratic forces managed through the ongoing clashes to arrest 6 members at least of the organization including a woman and members of Syrian, Asian and Algerian nationalities.
