“Jihadists” of the buffer area break their “secret” promises to the Turkish intelligence

The areas of the Russian – Turkish truce and the demilitarized area, which is stretching from the northeastern mountains of Latakia through Hama and Idlib to the northwestern suburbs of Aleppo city; are witnessing anticipation as less than 72 hours remained for Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the “Jihadi” factions to get their members out of the buffer area, which was agreed upon by the Russians and Turks, where the factions withdrew their entire heavy weapons from the buffer area and concealed it in it, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has not yet monitored any signs or indications of the possibility of getting the factions out of the demilitarized area until now, despite the promises made to Turkey earlier by “jihadi” and Islamic factions, that they will withdraw from the buffer area and implement the Turkish – Russian agreement, and deliver it to factions close to Turkey.

This monitoring comes after the Syrian Observatory published this morning that no withdrawal has been made by members with their light weapon of the “jihadi” factions, such as Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, the Islamic Turkestani Party, Hurras al-Dien, Ansar al-Din, and other “jihadi groups”, of which the Russian – Turkish agreement including the complete withdrawal of their members with light, medium, and heavy weapons from the demilitarized area, which stretches from the northern countryside of Latakia to the northwestern suburbs of Aleppo city and passes through the countryside of Hama and Idlib, where it was agreed upon after the meeting that took place between the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Russian President Vladimir Putin on the 17th of September 2018, where the agreement includes the withdrawal of these Jihadi factions completely with all their weapons from the area, and there has been no new withdrawal from the area, where the last withdrawal took place some 15 days ago when Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham withdrew from its points in the areas of Morek and Lahaya located in the northern countryside of Hama.

The Syrian Observatory published yesterday Thursday, that that Turkish – Russian preparations continue to start monitoring the demilitarized buffer area, which extends from the northern mountains of Latakia through the countryside of Hama and Idlib to the northwestern countryside of Aleppo, which was agreed upon after the meeting between the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Russian President Vladimir Putin on the 17th of September 2018, these preparations come after the presence of the heavy weapon completely ended in the buffer area three days ago, while all the factions without exception continue to maintain their positions, which are supported by their fighters and medium and individual weapons, and in particular; the National Liberation Front factions, after they brought during the past hours military reinforcements of medium-weapons and fighters to their positions and points in the demilitarized area, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago that Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that no change have been made to the buffer area extending from Latakia mountains to the northwestern countryside of Aleppo, through Idlib and Hama, where the Syrian Observatory monitored the return of fighters who withdrew the heavy weapons from the buffer area and they were deployed again in the position points in the countryside of the 4 provinces within the demilitarized area, in which the rebel, Islamic, and “jihadi” factions had withdrawn some of the heavy weapons and hide the other part in covered trenches, while the Russian – Turkish preparations continue to proceed in monitoring the disarmed area agreed upon on the 17th of September 2018.
