The cautious calm in the areas of the Turkish – Russian truce is interrupted by renewed shelling on the demilitarized zone as the end of the deadline for the “jihadis” to leave approaches

Cautious calm returned again to prevail the areas of the Turkish – Russian truce in the 4 provinces (Aleppo, Idlib, Hama and Lattakia), interrupted by renewed fall of shells fired by the regime forces on areas in Lataminah town in the northern countryside of Hama, within the supposed buffer area, where these incidents are coincided with approaching the end of the deadline for the “jihadis” to leave the demilitarized zone tomorrow, Monday, in the light of absence of any declared withdrawals monitored in the area so far,  after the Syrian Observatory published this morning, that after cautious calm prevailed since the sunset of yesterday, the regime forces and the factions returned to breach the Russian – Turkish truce in the demilitarized zone, in conjunction with less than 24 hours left before the end of the deadline for the “jihadis” to leave the demilitarized zone, despite the disarmament of heavy weapons by the factions and the Russian promises to guarantee the regime and their heavy weapons in the demilitarized zone agreed upon between Russia and Turkey, but the area witnessed in the past 24 hours successive fall of shells that targeted several places of it, in several rounds, where the Syrian Observatory monitored, after the midnight of Saturday – Monday, the regime forces targeting by several artillery shells, areas in al-Bana village in the northern countryside of Hama, along with opening fire of heavy machineguns by the regime forces, on areas in Al-Jisat in the same countryside, in the same context, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored last night, exchange of targeting by machineguns between the factions against the regime forces, in areas in Sahl Al-Ghab near Jurin area in the north-western countryside of Hama, the regime forces also fired several mortar shells this morning, on areas in the agricultural lands of Al-Lataminah town and M’aarkaba village in the northern countryside of Hama, which caused material damage, also 11 shells fell on several neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its outskirts, which are Al-Shahba’, Jam’eyyat Al-Zahraa, Nile Street and Halab al-Jadidah, which caused material damage, without information about injuries.

And the Syrian Observatory published last night, that cautious calm returned to prevail the demilitarized zone and the area of the Turkish – Russian truce applied in the 4 provinces, after they witnessed a series of breaches on the sunset of today, Saturday the 13th of October 2018, where a cautious calm is prevailing the area, after the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the consequences of the recent breaches in the area of Sahl Al-Ghab, in the north-western sector of Hama countryside, within the demilitarized zone, which have been agreed upon after reaching a consensus between Russia and Turkey, where the shells fired by the factions operating in Jurin area which is located within the demilitarized zone, resulted in the death of 2 members at least of the regime forces as well as the injury of others with varying severity, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored renewed shelling that targeted areas in Al-Ziyarah town within the demilitarized zone in the area of Sahl Al-Ghab, and the Syrian Observatory published hours ago, that it monitored breaches by the regime forces to the Russian – Turkish truce, through targeting the demilitarized areas in Sahl Al-Ghab which is located in the north-western sector of Hama countryside, where the Syrian Observatory monitored successive shelling by the regime forces on Al-Mansurah, Tal Waset, Al-Qahira, Al-Ziyarah, Ziadiyah and Zayzun, which resulted in the injury of a child in Zayzun village, and the intersected sources confirmed that the regime forces which are concentrated in the demilitarized zone, have not withdrawn any of their heavy weapons but they remained in the area with Russian guarantees, to target the controlled areas of the factions that have disarmed their heavy weapons whether through withdrawing them or hiding them in the demilitarized area, while the Syrian Observatory monitored that the factions targeted the positions of the regime forces and the areas of Al-Bahsa and Al-Mashari’ in Sahl Al-Ghab, and the Syrian Observatory published today morning, Saturday, that the regime forces targeted using heavy machine guns areas on outskirts of al-Lataminah town in the northern countryside of Hama after midnight of yesterday, in a new breach of the Russian – Turkish truce applied in areas at Aleppo, Hama, Latakia, and Idlib, but other than that, the cautious calm prevails areas of truce and the demilitarized area, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that there has been no change in this area, where the factions -without exception- maintain their presence within their positions and points of deployment, amid a state of cautious anticipation as the period of time given for the exit of “Jihadi Groups” out of the buffer area almost ends, where they are supposed to get out of the buffer area approved by an agreement between Erdogan and Putin.
