Raids by the National Front and Tahrir al-Sham in Idlib countryside result in arrests ass a part of a security campaign to control the continuous chaos in Idlib province and its surroundings

The Islamic factions operating in Idlib province and the surrounding countryside are trying through the security operations they carry out in their controlled areas; to ease decrease the security chaos in the area against groups of killing, kidnapping, and bombings which are spreading chaos and increasing human casualties in Idlib and around it of the Syrian north, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored today morning, Friday, the 19th of October 2018, members of the National Liberation Front’s security force raiding a house in Jarjanaz town in the eastern countryside of Maarrat al-Nu’man, where the house belongs to one of the people wanted for them, and the Observatory’s local sources confirmed that a shooting took place between the wanted and the security force, which killed a member of the latter, and the group was arrested, and at his home they found mines, IEDs, and explosives belts. And in the same context, Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham arrested an armed group responsible for kidnapping and murder; in the village of Tal Toukan in the eastern countryside of Idlib, where it raided the headquarters of the group and an exchange of fire took place and caused the killing of 3 of them and the arrest of others, and a second headquarter in al-Kna’es village in the eastern countryside of Maarrat al-Nu’man, and the group was accused of carrying out the killing against the Civil Defense group in Tal Hadya town in the 26th of May 2018, in addition to several kidnappings and murders in the area.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented that it rose to at least 367, the number of persons who were assassinated in Idlib countryside and both Aleppo and Hama countryside since the 26th of April 2018, they are the wife of an Uzbek commander and his son, in addition to 77 civilians including 12 children and 6 women, of who were assassinated through bomb explosions, IED detonations, shooting, abduction, murder and then throwing the bodies in remote areas, and 246 fighters of Syrian nationality belong to Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, al-Sham Corps, the Islamic Movement of Ahrar al-Sham, Jaysh al-Izza, and other factions operating in Idlib, and 40 fighters of Somali, Uzbek, Asian, Gulf, Jordanian and Caucasian nationalities have been assassinated in the same ways, also the assassination attempts have injured tens of people with varying severity, while the factions stepped up their raids and operations against sleeper cells they accused of belonging to the “Islamic State” organization.
