More casualties in al-Susah massacres raise the death toll to 58 including 41 civilians, killed by International Coalition warplanes east of Euphrates River

Deir Ezzor Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented more casualties in the massacre that was carried out by the International Coalition warplanes on Friday, the 19th of October 2018, when they targeted al-Susah town in the enclave that is under the control of the “Islamic State” organization east of Euphrates River, the rise in death toll came after pulling more bodies from under the rubble and the death of injured people, where it rose to 34, the number of people who were killed in the massacre, they are: 23 civilian casualties including 3 children at least, in addition to 11 members of the “Islamic State” Organization, whose nationalities and positions were not known until the moment, raising to 58, the number of people who were killed in 2 massacres carried out by the International Coalition warplanes by targeting al-Susah town in two consecutive days: Thursday and Friday, and they are: 41 civilian casualties Including 10 children and at least 4 citizen women, the majority of them were killed in Thursday’s massacre of Iraqi nationality, and 17 people of the “Islamic State” Organization were killed in the massacres of the International Coalition, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, and because there are trapped people under the rubble.

In the same context, the violent clashes continue in areas within the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, between the Syria Democratic and Forces supported by the International Coalition against members of the “Islamic State” organization of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, where the violent clashes are concentrated within the last enclave of the organization, in the framework of attempts by the International Coalition to end the presence of ISIS in the area, while the Organization is desperately defending its last fortresses, and the clashes are accompanied by continuous bombardment occasionally, and information about more casualties in the ranks of both parties, and the Syrian Observatory published yesterday evening that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a new column of the International Coalition composed of 25 Hummer vehicle, heading towards the battle fronts and contact lines with the organization in the enclave which is located on the eastern banks of the Euphrates River, in the same context, the clashes are continuing between the Syria Democratic Forces supported by the International Coalition against the “Islamic State” organization, in areas within ISIS last enclave in the east of the Euphrates River in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, and the Syrian Observatory monitored that the clashes are concentrated in the area of Hajin, accompanied by sporadic shelling every now and then, along with the overflight of the International Coalition’s warplanes over the area, amid information about the fall of more human losses in the ranks of the both parties, also several ambulances were monitored heading from the clash areas towards the housing of Al-Omar Oilfield without information about what they contained, and the SOHR published hours ago that several intersected sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the International Coalition carried out 2 massacres in the past 24 hours in Al-Susah town in the enclave which is under the control of the “Islamic State” organization, at the eastern banks of the Euphrates River, and which is ISIS last remaining enclave in the east of the Euphrates, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored today, Friday the 19th of October 2018, the death of 22 persons they are: 14 civilian men and young men, 3 members of the organization, and 5 persons whose identities have not known so far, they were killed in targeting to Al-Susah town in the eastern sector of Deir Ezzor countryside, the shelling also resulted in the fall of a number of wounded some of whom are still in serious condition, the SOHR also monitored the death of 24 persons yesterday, Thursday the 18th of October 2018, they are: 18 citizens including 7 children and 4 women most of them are Iraqis, who were killed in the raids which targeted Al-Susah town, where this targeting took place yesterday Thursday and the death toll is expected to increase due to the presence of injured cases in serious conditions and the presence of missing people.

And the Syrian Observatory documented more human losses since the eruption of clashes in the east of the Euphrates at the end of the 10th of September 2018, where it rose to at least 354, the number of ISIS members who were killed in the ongoing clashes and the Coalition’s strikes, while 209 members at least have been killed of the Syria Democratic Forces since the start of military operations on the 10th of September 2018, one of whom has served as a field commander in Deir Ezzor Military Council of the Syria Democratic Forces, while the death toll is expected to increase due to the presence of information about other casualties as well as the presence of injured cases in serious conditions, the Syrian Observatory also documented the death of 7 citizens they are: 2 child girls were killed in shelling by the SDF on ISIS enclave, and the rest were killed in shelling by the International Coalition on the same enclave.
