Erdogan – Putin agreement completes its 6th consecutive day by more violations within the demilitarized zone

The agreement between Erdogan and Putin completes its 6th consecutive day within the demilitarized zone stretched from the north-eastern mountains of Lattakia, to the north-western suburbs of Aleppo city passing through both Hama and Idlib, with more violation within the areas of the supposed truce between the Russians and the Turks, where the Syrian Observatory monitored today the 20th of October 2018, the fall of several shells fired by the regime forces on places in Kafr Nabudah town in Hama countryside within the demilitarized zone, without information about injuries so far, and the Syrian Observatory published hours ago, that it monitored targeting by the regime forces by heavy machineguns to places in the outskirts of Al-Lataminah town in the northern countryside of Hama, also one of the jihadist factions targeted a heavy machinegun of the regime forces in the area of Abu Ali Hill on Jabal Al-Turkman in the northern countryside of Lattakia, which damaged it, without information about human losses, in renewed violations to the truce between the Russians and the Turks, within the demilitarized zone, agreed upon between the Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Receb Tayyip Erdogan, where it is stretched from the north-eastern mountains of Lattakia, to the north-western suburbs of Aleppo city passing through both Hama and Idlib, and the Syrian Observatory published hours ago, that it monitored new violations today morning, the 20th of October 2018, within the agreed demilitarized area, where renewed targeting took place using heavy and medium machineguns as well as exchange of shelling for the second consecutive day in the southeastern countryside of Idlib, between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the factions operating in the area, where the targeting concentrated in the areas of al-Khwyn and al-Zarzour, but no information about casualties yet, in the same context, activists of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights did not monitor until the moment any withdrawals of jihadi groups and factions from the demilitarized area, which extends from the northeastern mountains of Latakia, passes through Idlib and Hama countryside, until the northwestern suburbs of Aleppo city.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago that the cautious calm returned to control areas of the Turkish – Russian truce in Hama, Latakia, Idlib, and Aleppo, where the calm has been taking place since after midnight of yesterday until the moment, after the renewed violations that took place yesterday, Friday, this cautious calm comes as the agreement of the Presidents Erdogan and Putin enters its 6th consecutive day, without any new thing to be mentioned within the demilitarized area, which extends from the northeastern mountains of Latakia, passes through Idlib and Hama countryside, until the northwestern suburbs of Aleppo city, where the jihadi factions and groups maintain their positions and points within the buffer area, while the Turkish intelligence continues to fail to persuade the “jihadis” to withdraw from it, and the Syrian Observatory published yesterday night that violations continue within the areas of the Turkish – Russian truce applied in Aleppo, Hama, Idlib and Lattakia, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored today evening, Friday, targeting by heavy machineguns by the regime forces on places in the outskirts of Al-Lataminah town in the northern sector of Hama countryside, violating again the Putin – Erdogan Deal within the demilitarized zone stretched from the north-eastern mountains of Lattakia, to the north-western suburbs of Aleppo city passing through both Hama and Idlib, while the Syrian Observatory published hours ago, that the agreement between the presidents Putin and Erdogan about the Syrian territory, completes today its 5th consecutive day, amid obvious failure by the Turkish intelligence in persuading the Syrian and non-Syrian “jihadist” factions to leave the demilitarized zone, stretched from the north-eastern mountains of Lattakia, passing through both Hama and Idlib to the north-western suburbs of Aleppo city, these suburbs which witnessed with the western part of Aleppo city which is included within the demilitarized zone agreement, witnessed yesterday evening, Thursday the 19th of October 2018, exchange of shelling between the regime forces and the factions which sources suggested that they are “jihadist” ones, where the area witnessed heavy shelling by tens of shells fired by the “jihadist” faction on the neighborhoods of the western part of Aleppo city, along with artillery shelling by the regime forces on Kafr Hamra and Al-Mansurah towns as well as other areas in the western suburbs of the city.

The Syrian Observatory also monitored the escalated number of human losses as a result of the targeting which is the first one of kind in terms of the intensity of the shelling and the number of human losses after the agreement that was reached between Erdogan and Putin on the 17th of October 2018, where it rose to 3, the number of casualties that these shells left, while the death toll is expected to increase due to the presence of injured cases in serious conditions, the shelling also caused material damage to the property of the citizens in Aleppo city and in its suburbs and countryside, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also published hours ago, that it monitored the outbreak of clashes in the southeastern countryside of Idlib province within the demilitarized area, which has not yet witnessed the leave of any “Jihadi” groups despite the end of the deadline, where clashes are taking place between members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against fighters of the factions operating in the area, in areas of Sham al-Hawa and Abu Omar, amid shelling by the regime forces targeted the area between al-Khwyn and al-Zarzour in the same countryside of Idlib province, and this clashes comes after a morning violation in al-Khwyn area in the southeastern countryside of Idlib, while the sources confirmed that the factions deployed in the area include Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, Jaysh al-Ahrar, and other groups, and the Syrian Observatory also published this morning that the cautious calm returned to areas of the Turkish – Russian truce in Aleppo, Hama, Idlib, and Latakia since after midnight of yesterday until now, except for heavy machineguns’ fire that targeted al-Khwyn area in the southeastern countryside of Idlib, after a violent night of the heaviest shelling within the truce period, where exchange of targeting took place by tens of rocket shells in Aleppo city, its suburbs, and western countryside, which killed a person and injured 12 others with varying severity, as a result of the shells that fell on the western part of Aleppo city, and this is the first civilian casualty to be documented in bombing by the Islamic factions and the “jihadis” since Putin – Erdogan agreement on the 17th of September, and the second civilian casualty in areas of the disarmament and its surroundings, since the death of a young man in Kafr Hamra town northwest of Aleppo city on the 25th of September 2018.
