International Coalition warplanes heavily bombard the vicinity of al-Tank Field after about 24 hours of raids that killed 20 members and prevented an attack on the military base in the Field

Deir Ezzor Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored intense shelling by the International Coalition warplanes on areas in the vicinity of al-Tank oilfield, which witnessed about 24 hours ago intense shelling by Coalition warplanes claimed the lives of 20 fighters of the organization, who tried to attack al-Tank Oilfield in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, where there is a military base of the Syria Democratic Forces as well as advisers from the International Coalition Forces, and the Syrian Observatory monitored shelling by about 40 artillery shells targeted areas in the last pocket of the Organization at east bank of Euphrates River in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, amid the continued flight of warplanes and targeting occasionally areas of presence of the Organization and its members, and the Syrian Observatory published on Wednesday, that  the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a surprise attack by the “Islamic State” organization, in which a group of ISIS members attempted to attack a military base in al-Tank Oilfield in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, and in the details monitored by the Syrian Observatory: the attack took place between 6 and 7 pm Syria time, on the evening of Wednesday, the 7th of November 2018, where the Coalition warplanes immediately carried out intense airstrikes targeting vehicles and machines of the Organization, where the aerial attack destroyed at least 7 vehicles and was able to kill at least 20 ISIS members, also the intense and violent airstrikes prevented the ISIS attack on al-Tank oilfield, one of the largest oilfields in Deir Ezzor, which has a military base of the Syria Democratic Forces and military advisers of the US Forces and the International Coalition.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also monitored during the last 48 hours the arrival of about 150 members to al-Tank oilfield, in order to protect the field and its military base from attacks of the Organization, and the Syrian Observatory monitored a column of the International Coalition during the last 3 days, each morning the column heads to the front accompanied by 2 artilleries and gets back at night with them, after targeting all day areas of the “Islamic State” organization, raising to 588, the number of fighters and commanders of the “Islamic State” Organization, who were killed in the clashes and the strikes of the International Coalition and SDF, while the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 339 at least, one of them was a field commander of Deir Ezzor Military Council of the Syria Democratic Forces, the members of the SDF who were killed in clash against ISIS, since the start of the military operations on the 10th of September 2018, and the death toll is expected to increase as there is information about other human losses and the presence of injured cases in serious conditions, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the execution of 15 people -including 10 members of SDF- by the Organization in its last enclave east of Euphrates, also the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented that it rose to 82, the number of people killed by the international coalition warplanes since the 10th of September 2018, in strikes by the International Coalition on two mosques and a Koranic institute in al-Susah town within the ISIS-enclave in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, and the majority of them are of Iraqi nationality including families of ISIS members, and in strikes targeted a house in al-Bobadran village and in raids on Hajin and other areas of the last enclave of ISIS east of the Euphrates, in addition to 2 children who were killed in shelling by SDF on the ISIS enclave.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the Special Forces within the Syria Democratic Forces managed to recover all the posts they lost yesterday Sunday for the “Islamic State” organization in the eastern sector of Deir Ezzor countryside, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights; the Special Forces (the Kurdish People’s Protection Units “YPG”) and in their first attack on the organization since the SDF brought them on the 28th of October 2018, managed to regain the control of all the positions into which the organization advanced in its attacks yesterday Sunday in Al-Bahra area which is located near Hajin in the enclave that the organization controls, with the support of the International Coalition’s warplanes which participated in the operation of recovering these positions through their heavy targeting to the clash areas and ISIS controlled areas east of the Euphrates River, in addition to the SDF’s rocket shelling, while this is the first attack by the Syria Democratic Forces after they announced the suspension of their military operations as a denunciation against the Turkish shelling and the expected attack by the Turkish forces on the border strip extended between the east of the Euphrates to the west of the Tigris River.

And the Syrian Observatory also published that it monitored the continuation of clashes at a violent pace between the Syria Democratic Forces against members of the “Islamic State” Organization, in areas at the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, where the clashes are concentrated in places at al-Bahra area which was attacked by the Organization, amid continued targeting of the area by warplanes of the International Coalition, and the continuation of targeting by SDF for the “Islamic State” organization’s-controlled areas and positions, as each party tries to advance at the account of the other party, also the Syrian Observatory monitored the continuation of preparations for the military operation, of which the Syria Democratic Forces and the International Coalition intent to begin in the coming days, to end the presence of the “Islamic State” Organization east of Euphrates.
