The demilitarized ” Putin – Erdogan ” area completes its first month, the jihadist groups and factions bring military reinforcements to the area instead from withdrawing

The agreement of the Turkish Presidents Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Russian President Vladimir Putin have completed its first month, about the demilitarized area which stretches from the northeastern mountains of Latakia, passes through Hama and Idlib, until the northwestern suburbs of Aleppo city, where the so-called agreement which began on the 15th of October 2018, states provides in its essence for the withdrawal of jihadi groups and factions from the demilitarized area. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has not monitored any withdrawals of the jihadi groups or factions from the area in this month, but on the contrary; the Syrian Observatory monitored during the earlier days of this month that the jihadi factions brought military reinforcements to their positions and points within the demilitarized area, such as those brought by Tahrir al-Sham days ago to the east of Saraqib, where the Syrian Observatory published on Tuesday evening that Tahrir Al-Sham brought more military reinforcements to the area, which is near the command room of the regime forces’ operations east of Idlib, after the reinforcements which it brought about 48 hours ago.

This demilitarized area has been witnessing continue violation by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, the Jihadis, and in clashes between them, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the truce until now the death of at least 46 people, they were killed in clashes and shelling by the regime forces at the northern and northwestern countryside of Aleppo, Idlib countryside, and Hama countryside, since the start of the demilitarized buffer area agreement on the 17th of September 2018, they are 23 fighters of Jaysh al-Izza were killed during ambushes and clashes -including at least one leader- in the northern countryside of Hama, and 9 people were killed as a result of shelling by the regime forces on Jarjanaz town and its vicinity, and at least 7 citizens including 3 children and 3 citizen women were killed as a result of shelling on al-Raffa village, and a fighter of the factions was killed in shelling by the regime forces in Hayyan area north of Aleppo, and a member of engineering in the factions was killed in the shelling that targeted Hayyan, and a child was killed in the shelling that targeted Kafr Hamra on the 24th of October 2018, and a civilian was killed in shelling on Kafr Hamra on the 25th of September 2018, also the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 21 members of the regime forces and their allies within the demilitarized area in the countryside of Hama, Latakia, Idlib, and Aleppo, during bombings, targeting, and clashes against the factions.
