Within the demilitarized zone…the countryside of Hama witnesses escalation of clashes, shelling and targeting operations in ongoing breaches to “Erdogan – Putin” truce

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored today evening, Thursday the 15th of November 2018, the outbreak of violent clashes in the areas of Zilaqiat and Zellin in the northern countryside of Hama within the Demilitarized zone, between the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them against the fighters of factions operating in this area, accompanied by exchange of targeting and shelling between the both parties, without information so far about human losses, while the regime forces are continuing their heavy rocket shelling on Hama countryside, targeting areas in the towns and villages of Al-Lataminah, Kafr Zita, Al-Sakhr, Al-Jisat, Al-Zakah, M’aarkaba, Murak and Hasaraya, while targeting operations are continuing between the jihadist factions against the regime forces in the contact areas in the northern countryside of Latakia, as a part of the ongoing violations to Erdogan – Putin truce supposed to be applied in areas of Hama, Aleppo, Idlib and Latakia, and the Syrian Observatory published today, that few hours of clam prevailed within areas of the Russian – Turkish truce and the demilitarized area, before the regime renewed this morning, Thursday, the 15th of November 2018, after calm prevailed since after midnight of yesterday until morning, where the Syrian Observatory monitored rocket shelling by the regime forces this morning targeted areas in the vicinity of al-Lataminah town in the northern countryside of Hama within the demilitarized area, accompanied by targeting using heavy machineguns for places on the outskirts of Morek town north of Hama.

And the Syrian Observatory published yesterday evening that violations continue within the Turkish – Russian truce areas and the demilitarized area, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored more of these violations on the evening of the 14th of November 2018, where the targeting was renewed between the regime forces and the jihadi factions in areas in the northern countryside of Latakia, and in Aleppo, the regime forces shelled in the evening places in the scientific research area and al-Rashedin on the western outskirts of Aleppo, while clashes and exchange of fire took place in al-Masasneh area in the northern countryside of Hama, between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against factions working in the area, amid renewed shelling and targeting by the regime forces targeting places on the outskirts and surroundings of al-Lataminah, KafrZitta, al-Sakhr, and al-Jisat in the same countryside, also the factions targeted sites controlled by the regime forces in Hamamiyyat area north of Hama, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights member documented the death of a member of the regime forces by a sniper shot by Jaysh al-Izza faction in the northern countryside of Hama, raising to 22, the number of members of the regime forces and their allies who were killed in the demilitarized area in the countryside of Hama, Latakia, Idlib, and Aleppo in the shelling, targeting, and clashes against the factions.
