10 days after the first fighting between them…Idlib’s North witnesses a new state of tension between Tahrir Al-Sham and Hurras al-Dien

Deir Ezzor Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a new state of tension between Hurras al-Dien organization which rejects the disarmament deal and between Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham whose attitude is vague, in the northern countryside of Idlib province, and in the details monitored by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights; the new state of tension came against the backdrop of arresting 7 non-Syrian fighters of Hurras al-Dien by Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, in Harem area in the northern countryside of Idlib, then the response of Hurras al-Dien came represented by mobilizations in the area along with spreading checkpoints, amid exchange of accusations between the both parties in regard with the reasons and nature of these arrests, along with fears of the outbreak of new fighting in the area, where parties close to each conflicting party, are seeking to intervene to break up the disagreement and reach an agreement between the both parties, while this is the second tension of kind between the both parties after that one which took place in Saraqeb town 10 days ago, where the Syrian Observatory published on the 5th of November 2018, that it monitored tension and alert between Hurras al-Dien Organization which rejects the disarmament agreement and between Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham of the mysterious position of the deal, in the eastern sector of Idlib countryside within Saraqib area near the demilitarized area, and the Syrian Observatory learned that tension comes with fears among the citizens of the return of the clashes between both parties after the clashes which took place noon of Sunday, the 5th of November 2018, and the Syrian Observatory published hours ago that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the erupt of clashes between members of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham against members of Hurras al-Dien Organization, in places at the eastern countryside of Idlib province, and the sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the clashes took place at the checkpoint of the northern bridge of Saraqib town, along with alert between fighters of both parties and, amid fears among the citizens of the escalation of the clashes between both parties, and confirmed information that Hurras al-Dien was able to control the checkpoint of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, for which the clashes took place and still underway in an attempt by Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham to regain control of it, but no information about casualties.

The SOHR also published on the 5th of November 2018, that this fight comes after about 72 hours of clashes between Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement and Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham Kafr Naseh area and its vicinity in the western countryside of Aleppo, where the Syrian Observatory published that the Syrian Observatory monitored exchange of fire using medium and heavy machine guns in the area amid alert situation between both parties, followed by an urgent meeting between the Nour al-Dien al-Zenki movement and Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, the sources confirmed that the results of the meeting were: no column of Nour al-Dien al-Zenki movement will enter inside the village (Kafr Naseh), immediately stop holding the arms in and out of the village, if the second party does not abide (Nour al-Dien al-Zenki movement) -then- the first (Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham) puts checkpoint east of the village, and the first party (Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham) vows not to interfere with any of the mujahedin of al-Zenki movement in Baykeh checkpoint, in the case of a problem between 2 members of both factions in Kafr Naseh; the Emir is request directly”, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 30th of October 2018 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights received a copy of the statement of the agreement between Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the National Liberation Front; after the violent clashes that took place between both parties in the northern countryside of Aleppo, it says:

“The brothers in the National Liberation Front and Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham have agreed on the following: cease-fire between both parties immediately, and the release of prisoners from both parties immediately, and forming an committee agreed upon to investigate the murder of the brothers Akram Khattab and Abu Trab may ALLAH accept them (as martyrs) and handing over the suspects in their murder, and the case to be followed-up with an agreed third party agreed upon the suggested of which is the Dr. Anas Ayrout provided that it starts its work immediately, and Taqad village remains neutral without headquarters, checkpoints, security patrols and not to interfere with its local council, the cave of Taqad “Behfis” stay in the hands of Tahrir al-Sham, and the withdrawal of the National Front from Tallat al-Sheikh Khader and the return of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham to it, and Kafr Hamra city stays free of headquarters (Ahrar – Zenki) and the brothers in Ahrar al-Sham have the right to create an operations room from the side of al-Leramoun Ikthar Bithar, and refer the solution of the outstanding issues at the field level to their leaders of both parties to be settled at the earliest.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published last night that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the return of calm to the demilitarized zone, in the vicinity of Aleppo city from both northern and western sides, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights; after the escalated pace of clashes while they were continuing today after noon, and with the beginning to the today’s evening the 30th of October 2018, the areas of clashes between the factions operating under the banner of the National Liberation Front against Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, witnessed the return of calm, where the pace of fighting decreased until it was completely ceased, in conjunction with a meeting that was held between representatives of the both parties through mediators in order to reach an agreement on ceasing the fighting and the return of calm in the demilitarized zone which the jihadis refuse to leave, amid confirmed information about reaching an agreement provides on the cessation of fighting and the return of each party to its positions as things were before the fighting, which ignited the local’s resentment after the fall of casualties and wounded of fighters and citizens in the fighting which has been the most violent one since a deal was reached between Putin and Erdogan on the 17th of September 2018.
