Clashes continue in Hajin between ISIS against SDF after the latter managed to impose their control over more than 70% of it area

Deir Ezzor Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: clashes continue in areas in Hajin town in the eastern sector of Deir Ezzor countryside between the “Islamic State” organization on one hand, against the Syria Democratic Forces, Jaysh Al-Thowwar, Deir Ezzor Military Council, Manbij Military Council and al-Sh’aytat forces, on the other, in a continued attempt by the latter to control more areas and impose their full control over Hajin after they achieved several advancements in the recent hours, while the ongoing clashes are accompanied by ongoing rocket shelling targeting Hajin and other areas within ISIS last enclave east of the Euphrates, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago, that the artillery and missile shelling by the International Coalition and the Syria Democratic Forces continue on the “Islamic State” organization’s-controlled areas in Hajin and the last ISIS-controlled enclave at the east bank of Euphrates River, where the Syrian Observatory monitored the death of more civilians in shelling by the International Coalition warplanes on areas in Hajin town, where the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 11 people, they are: 6 children, 3 citizen women, and 2 members of the “Islamic State” Organization of the displaced people of the eastern countryside of Homs, raising to 317 including 113 children and 72 citizen women (including 180 Syrian citizens including 76 children and 43 women of Syrian nationality), thus, which increased the number of people who were killed according to the 3 stages of the Coalition bombing, which was divided by the Syrian Observatory to 3 phases, the first of which is the first month of the military operation in which the Syria Democratic Forces and the Coalition advanced in the last enclave of the organization and controlled al-Baghuz, al-Susah, al-Shajla and parts of Hajin and the advanced in other outskirts and areas of the enclave, where Coalition airstrikes killed at least 5 Syrian civilians, and this first phase was from the 10th of September to the 10th of October 2018, while the second phase was from the 10th of October to the 28th of the same month, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the death of 47 civilians including 14 children and 7 women, including 15 Syrians including 8 children and 3 women, they were killed in airstrikes by the International Coalition warplanes which targeted at least 4 mosques, a Koranic school, and civilian homes, while the third stage represented by shelling by the International Coalition and killed 265 civilians including 99 children and 65 women, including 160 Syrian citizens including 68 children and 40 women, in several areas under the control of the “Islamic State” organization at the eastern bank of Euphrates River, in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

Also it rose to 837, the number of fighters of the “Islamic State” organization who were killed in shelling, clashes, bombings, and raids within the enclave of the organization since the 10th  of September 2018, also it rose to about 500, the number members of the Syria Democratic Forces who were killed since the 10th of September 2018.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the International Coalition warplanes flying over Hajin area, and the last enclave of the “Islamic State” Organization at the east banks of Euphrates River, after shelling by the Syria Democratic Forces and the International Coalition Forces targeting areas in Hajin and other areas of the enclave, coincide with bombing by the International Coalition warplanes on the same areas, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored continuous clashes between the Syria Democratic Forces, Jaysh al-Thowwar, Deir Ezzor Military Council, and al-Sh’aytat Forces against members of “Islamic State” Organization in areas at Hajin town, reliable sources confirmed that more than 70% of Hajin town is under the control of Syria Democratic Forces, while slow progress is being carried out in the remaining space due to the intensity of mines planted by the Organization, in conjunction with sweeping for the areas that were controlled, and the Syrian Observatory monitored that 300 YPG members entered the front lines and contact lines with ISIS, while the Syrian Observatory monitored this afternoon shelling by tens of shells launched by the Coalition and targeted the “Islamic State” organization’s-controlled areas in Hajin town, also the Syrian Observatory monitored the exit of 3 ambulances from the contact lines carrying several injured SDF members.
