Violent clashes injure people in the vicinity of the International Coalition base in al-Tanf at the desert between a faction supported by it against the regime forces and allies

Homs Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored violent clashes between Jaysh Maghawir al-Thawra backed by the International Coalition Forces, against the regime forces and gunmen loyal to the them in the past hours, in Zarka area near al-Tanf Base in the east of the Syrian Desert, where reliable sources confirmed that at least 3 members of Jaysh Maghawir al-Thawra were killed, and several others were injured with varying degrees of severity, also Jaysh Maghawir al-Thawra captured 2 members of the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, in addition to seizing weapons of the regime forces, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 2nd of December 2018 that  explosions rocked today, Sunday the 2nd of December 2018, areas in the Syrian Desert, it turned out that they were caused by rocket shelling by more than 14 missiles fired from the International Coalition’s base of Al-Tanf, where the missiles targeted a column of the regime forces astray in Halbeh area east of al-Alayniyyah, which is located to the north-west of Al-Tanf Base, amid secrecy by the International forces that are located in the base, while the Syrian fighters who are located there, have seen the missiles being launched towards the areas where the regime forces are present, without information so far about casualties.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 9th of December 2018 that the the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the outbreak of violent clashes in the past hours, between the “Islamic State” organization on one hand, against the regime forces, the Iranian forces and gunmen loyal to them on the other, in areas in Al-Sukhnah Desert in the eastern sector of Homs countryside, and the SOHR monitored that the fighting is coincided with artillery shelling by the regime forces and exchange of targeting to places in the clash areas within the area that is extended from the eastern desert of Al-Sukhnah to the administrative border with the desert of Deir Ezzor province, which is located near the International Coalition’s base in Al-Tanf area, and intersected sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the clashes were accompanied by successive violent strikes by warplanes which targeted the positions of the organization and the places where it is located in the clash areas, amid confirmed information about the fall of human losses in the ranks of the both parties as a result of the explosions, targeting operations and both aerial and artillery bombardment, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 5th of December 2018, that violent clashes and targeting took place in the Syrian desert between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities against the “Islamic State” Organization in places near al-Tanaf area in the eastern desert of Homs, where exchange of targeting took place between both parties in the area, which caused casualties in the ranks of them both, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of at least 5 members of the gunmen loyal to the regime forces in addition to killing more than 16 members of the “Islamic State” Organization, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation.

And the SOHR published that several explosions rocked today, Sunday the 2nd of December 2018, areas in the Syrian Desert, it turned out that they were caused by rocket shelling by more than 14 missiles fired from the International Coalition’s base of Al-Tanf, where the missiles targeted a column of the regime forces astray in Halbeh area east of al-Alayniyyah, which is located to the north-west of Al-Tanf Base, amid secrecy by the International forces that are located in the base, while the Syrian fighters who are located their, have seen the missiles being launched towards the areas where the regime forces are present, without information so far about casualties, and this targeting comes 3 days after the Israeli targeting to the countryside of the capital, Damascus, and Al-Quneitra, where the Syrian Observatory published on Friday the 30th of November 2018, that the second round of the Israeli missile attack that took place on the night of yesterday Thursday the 29th of November 2018, targeted warehouses and weapons depots in Jabal al-Mania in the south of Rif Dimashq, belong to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards and Hezbollah, where the targeting took place using 2 missiles, but no information about casualties until now, and the targeted warehouses were warehouses in which missiles were temporarily stored before being transported to their destination, also an Israeli missile landed in Harfa area at the administrative border between Damascus provinces and al-Quneitra, and the Syrian Observatory published yesterday evening that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the sound of intensive explosions for about an hour which targeted areas in the countryside of the capital and the Syrian South, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory; the Israeli forces have been continuously targeting and for about an hour, areas in both southern and south-western sectors of the countryside of the capital Damascus and areas in the administrative border with Al-Quneitra countryside, also the air defenses were monitored firing their missiles heavily in the area, in attempts to intercept the largest possible number of the Israeli missiles which are being successively and continuously fired, and this is the first targeting since September 2018, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 17th of September 2018, that it documented the death of 2 military personnel (who have not been identified until the moment) were killed during the intensive missile attack that believed to be Israeli strikes, which targeted yesterday night a warehouses within the Technical Industries Foundation located in the eastern suburbs of Latakia city, where the bodies were found after putting out the fires caused by the targeting, and the targeting also injured more than 10 soldiers: seven of them are Syrians and the other 3 were not known, which may raise the death toll.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 5th of November that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the return of calm to al-Sokhna front in the eastern countryside of Homs, after the violent clashes which took place between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against members of a group of the “Islamic State” Organization, in the eastern sector of al-Sokhna countryside, where the reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the shelling and the accompanied air raids, artillery strikes, and exchange of targeting, have killed at least 5 members of the gunmen loyal to the regime, as well as 8 members at least of the Organization, also the same circumstances wounded several others of both parties, and the Syrian Observatory published at that time, that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the “Islamic State” organization carrying out an attack on positions of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them in places at al-Sokhna area in the eastern countryside of Homs, where violent clashes took place between both parties, along with several raids by warplanes on the clash areas, and confirmed information about casualties in the ranks of both parties, where this fight comes as a result of an attack by a group of ISIS members on the area, and about two weeks after the killing of two leaders in the Lebanese Hezbollah, as a result of a mine explosion in a car they were driving ion the northeastern desert of Homs, located at the administrative border with Deir Ezzor Desert, where the mines were planted by the “Islamic State” Organization earlier during its control of the area, as the Syrian Desert witnesses the presence of the “Islamic State” Organization in a large enclave located in an area between the deserts of Homs and Deir Ezzor, which also witnessed military operations by the regime forces and their allies of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities weeks ago, in order to sweep the desert from the members of the “Islamic State” Organization.

The Syrian Observatory published weeks ago that the regime forces are continuing with their allies of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, to bring military reinforcements to the Syrian Desert, where the regime forces brought again tens of military vehicles carrying equipment, weapons and ammunition as well as hundreds of members of the regime forces and their allies of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, and the sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the bringing of these reinforcements comes in an attempt by the regime forces to fortify their positions and strengthen their presence in the Syrian Desert, for fear of a mass offensive that may be carried out by the “Islamic State” organization against them in the deserts of Homs and Deir Ezzor, in an attempt to expand its control over the enclaves that are under its control, and to revive its areas of control on the Syrian territory, in the wake of the attacks which are carried out either by the regime forces and their allies, or by the Syria Democratic Forces and the International Coalition through its American, Italian, French and European forces, where the organization which is located in the triangle of Al-Sukhnah – Jabal Abu Rajeem – Al-Tibah in the west of Palmyra – Al-Sukhnah – Deir Ezzor Road, is seeking to expand its control even more amid successive preparations carried out by the organization to expand the scope of its attacks.
