Hundreds of fighters of Nour al-Dien al-Zenki movement and the factions of the National Front arrive in areas of control of the Turkish Forces in Afrin and the countryside of Aleppo after surrendering and leaving the area

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that more than 400 fighters of Nour al-Dien al-Zenki movement have arrived in the areas controlled by factions of “Olive Branch” and “Euphrates Shield”, in the northeastern and northwestern parts of Aleppo, such as Jandairis and its vicinity and Afrin and its countryside, coming from the western countryside of Aleppo after they surrendered in the clashes against Tahrir al-Sham Organization, while it is expected that the number of arrivals to areas of “Olive Branch” and “Euphrates Shield” will increase to 500 fighters, where it is expected for more than 100 fighter to exit from al-Atarib city, the largest areas of the western countryside of Aleppo, after Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham entered the city with huge military columns on Sunday morning, the 6th of January 2018, after an agreement was reached after midnight of yesterday with factions of Thowwar al-Sham and Bayareq al-Islam, while the Syrian Observatory published this morning that an agreement had been reached between Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and al-Atarib factions through representatives from both parties, the agreement came after hours of violent clashes after an attack by Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham to take control of the largest city west of Aleppo, the text of the agreement reached after midnight on yesterday agrees to: “dissolution of the faction of Thowwar al-Sham and Bayareq al-Islam, and keeping weapons of the battalions stationed on the front against the regime only, and that from the security and military aspect the city of Atarib follows Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, while it follows the Rescue Government in the administrative, service, and judicial aspects, and not allowing members and commanders of the Brigades of Euphrates Shield to stay in al-Atarib city, and Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham guarantees to secure members of the Thowwar al-Sham and Bayareq al-Islam and not to prosecute them, and handing over the criminal cases and prosecutions to justice.”

This agreement was met with popular discontent among people of Atarib because of the area now belongs to Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, in conjunction with information the Syrian Observatory received which confirmed that Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham started to enter the city, while the Syrian Observatory published during the past hours that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the violent clashes returned in the western sector of Aleppo countryside, after the negotiations between Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham and between representatives of the factions of Al-Atarib city failed, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights; violent clashes are taking place between Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham on one hand, against Thowwar Al-Sham Battalion and Bayariq Al-Sham of the National Liberation Front on the other, in the vicinity and outskirts of Al-Atarib city, which is the largest city in the western sector of Aleppo countryside, and over which Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham is seeking to impose its control through its attack from 4 sides, after the first round of negotiations failed to reach a consensus between the negotiating parties, where Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham provides the handing over of tens of the wanted of fighters of the factions operating in Al-Atarib including citizen women, amid popular refusal against the entry of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham which clashed years ago against factions operating in Al-Atarib and the fighting at that time, resulted in the death of more than 100 fighters of Jabhat al-Nusra and its opponents in the town, the SOHR also monitored renewed fighting between Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham against factions operating under the banner of the National Liberation Front, in areas in the northern sector of Idlib countryside, where escalated clashes are concentrated in the vicinity and outskirts of the borer area with Iskenderun, Atma, amid exchange of targeting between the both parties using shells and heavy machineguns.

The Syrian Observatory published hours ago, that the fighting between Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham against its opponents, returned to escalate at violent pace, within the area of the western countryside of Aleppo, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored violent clashes today evening, Saturday the 5th of January 2019, in areas in the vicinity of Atarib city which is the largest city in the western sector of Aleppo countryside, between Thowwar Al-Sham Battalion against Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, in a violent and fierce attack by the latter with the purpose of taking the control of the city which previously witnessed tens of demonstrations against Jabhat al-Nusra and its leadership represented by Abu Mohammad Al-Julani, and the residents confirmed that the attack was carried out from the areas of Kafr Nasih, Al-Jinah, Kafr Karmin and Al-Sahara, amid exchange of targeting in the clash areas, while Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham is seeking to impose its control over the city, which witnessed years ago, violent fighting between factions operating in the city against Jabhat al-Nusra (Al Qaeda in the Levant), which left tens of fighters of both parties dead.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago, that the clashes in the Syrian north have extended to the northwestern sector countryside of Aleppo, where Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham is attacking areas controlled by “Olive Branch” Operation factions, which is the first of its kind between both parties, where the Syrian Observatory monitored Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham controlling the strategic areas of Deir Samaan and Qal’aat Samaan, which separate the western countryside of Aleppo from the areas that are controlled by “Olive Branch” Operation factions northwest of Aleppo, also clash caused casualties and injuries in the ranks of both parties, where the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 3 pro-Turkish factions, and information about more casualties in the ranks of both parties, and the Syrian Observatory published hours ago that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored renewed clashes between Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham against factions of the National Liberation Front, in areas in the northern sector of Idlib countryside, where the increased-pace clashes are concentrated at the vicinity and outskirts of the border area of Atma with Iskenderun, shelling and opening the fire of machineguns by both parties, where shells fell on areas controlled by the “Olive Branch” factions in Deir Ballut in Afrin countryside northwest of Aleppo, and information about more casualties in the ranks of both parties, and in another context, the Syrian Observatory learned that the National Liberation Front released the Maldivian “immigrants” who it arrested this morning in the southern countryside of Idlib, where a joint security force of Ahrar al-Sham and Soqur all-Sham of the National Liberation Front; have stormed at dawn of today a house in Kafruma village in the southern countryside of Idlib, inhabited by “Mujahedeen immigrants” from the Maldives, where the force arrested them and took them to unknown destination, and the Syrian Observatory learned that the rebels from the Maldives had already retired from the fighting.

The Syrian Observatory published this morning that  sectors within the countryside of Idlib are witnessing mobilization and alert by Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the National Liberation Front, where the Syrian Observatory monitored the arrival of a large military convoy at dawn on Saturday, including tens of vehicles and members brought by Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham to areas in the southern countryside of Idlib, while the western countryside of Aleppo is witnessing cautious calm in its areas, after Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham ended the presence of Nour al-Din Zenki throughout the area there, after clashes between them lasted 4 days, while Syrian Observatory for Human Rights received information about the arrival of military columns belong to the National Liberation Front to Jabal Samaan area and other sites there west of Aleppo after midnight of yesterday.

While the Syrian Observatory published yesterday that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the return of relative calm accompanied by gunfire in the western countryside of Aleppo, coincided with Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham’s ability to impose control over areas of Nour al-Din al-Zenki movement, in the western sector of Aleppo countryside, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham in the last few hours controlling Qebtan al-Jabal, Hor, Bastron, Mansoura, Qailoun, Babis, Ma’arat al-Artiq, Arab Fattoum, al-Huta, Anjarah and other areas of the western countryside of Aleppo, after imposing control over other areas during the 4 days of the bloody fighting, amid searches and raids in the areas it advanced to and controlled, where the intersected sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that negotiations took place with Nour al-Dien al-Zenki movement, about the method of withdrawing towards Afrin area, where the end of clashes in the western sector of Aleppo countryside comes after bloody clashes, which caused tens of casualties and prisoners, where it rose to 61 at least, the number of casualties of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, also it rose to 58, the number of killed members of Nour al-Dien Zenki movement, while the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 8 civilians including a nurse and 3 children, in the clashes that still taking place in the western sector of Aleppo countryside, while the clashes between the Nour al-Dien Zenki movement of the National Liberation Front against Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham; have caused the injury and captured of large number of fighters of both parties, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored continuous clashes between both parties in places at the southern countryside of Idlib, where the National Liberation Front achieved new advancement, which enabled it to control Talmanas town, and members of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham were captured there, while the National Liberation Front continues its attacks until now north of the town, and in the same context, the Syrian Observatory monitored that the National Front managed to control Kafrentin village in the western countryside of Aleppo, while Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham over the past hours took control of KafrBatna and the Regiment 111 in the western sector of Aleppo countryside, which in turn witnessed continuous clash in several of its areas, accompanied by an exchange of shelling and targeting between both parties, while a demonstration took place in Maarrat al-Nu’man city south of Idlib, condemning the practices of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and what it called “aggression” against factions of the Syrian north.
