About 35 ISIS members were killed an 21 others were captured in the failed attack by the organization on positions of the SDF in Al-Baghuz

Deir Ezzor Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented a large number of human losses during the failed counter attack that was carried out by the members of the “Islamic State” organization who refuse to surrender, on positions of the Syria Democratic Forces backed by the International Coalition in Al-Baghuz area at the eastern banks of the Euphrates River, where 34 members at least of the organization were killed, and the SOHR learned that the SDF managed to capture 21 other members of the organization, while at least 16 members of the SDF were also killed, in addition to the injury of 30 members at least with varying severity, and the number of those who were killed is expected to increase due to the presence of some injured cases in serious conditions, as well as information about the presence of other casualties, thus, it rose to 1213 the number of members and leaders of the “Islamic State” Organization, who were killed in the clashes, detonations and raids, while it rose to 653, the number of fighters of the Syria Democratic Forces who have been killed since the 10th of November to 10 December 2018, while the Syrian Observatory published hours ago that it rose to 388 people including 141 children and 86 citizen women (including 226 Syrian citizens including 96 children and 57 women of Syrian nationality) since the 10th of December 2018, also the “Islamic State” Organization had executed more than 713 detainees, of who were arrested on various charges including security members and members of the Organization who tried to break away of it and escape its controlled areas, and the executions were carried out inside headquarters and detention centers of the Organization, and within its controlled areas which are today confined to the towns of Sha’afah, al-Susah, al-Baghuz and villages of Abu Hasan, Bo Badran, al-Marashdah, al-Shajla, al-Kashmeh, al-Safiya and al-Bukhatir suburb east of Hajin, which extends along the east bank of Euphrates, along with its last enclave in the deserts of Homs and Deir Ezzor.

And the SOHR published hours ago, that the east bank of Euphrates River witnesses violent clashes between the “Islamic State” Organization against the Syria Democratic Forces supported by the International Coalition, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored an attack carried out by the remaining members of the Organization who refused to surrender at the east bank of the river in the eastern sector of Deir Ezzor countryside, in an attempt to advance in the area and regain control of it and find a way out, and the Syrian Observatory monitored that the Organization was able to regain control of parts of the town, while the clashes were accompanied by loud explosions with intense shelling targeted the “Islamic State” organization’s-controlled areas and locations, which caused casualties in the ranks of both parties, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published that it learned that several wanted members of the International Coalition of leader and members of the “Islamic State” Organization, are likely to have remained in the last enclave of the Organization at the remaining farms and communities of the Organization on the east bank of the river, while other reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that several other leaders of the Organization managed to escape towards the Syrian Desert, by infiltrating into the western bank of Euphrates River and then moving to the last remaining enclave of the Organization within regime forces’-controlled areas in Homs Desert which stretches towards Deir Ezzor Desert, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitoring shelling by more than 20 artillery shells by the International Coalition forces, targeted what is left for the Organization in the area, amid confirmations from field sources that the progress is hampered by the large number of mines planted by the Organization in the area, and that any confrontation and targeting by the “Islamic State” organization is responded to by bombing from the International Coalition.

While the Syrian Observatory monitored that new batches of ISIS members and their families are still getting out towards the Syria Democratic Forces’ controlled areas in the eastern sector of Deir Ezzor countryside, and in the details monitored by the Syrian Observatory: it rose to about 1000, the number of people who have gotten out since Thursday morning the 24th of January 2019, including about 300 members of the Organization, where they got out on board of cars and trucks from the front area with ISIS towards areas controlled by SDF, in preparation to be transferred to camps in the southern countryside of al-Hasaka Province, amid continued entry and exit of International Coalition’s lines columns from and to the clash fronts and contact lines with the remaining areas of the Organization at the east bank of Euphrates River, and the Syrian Observatory monitored the exit of 5 trailer trucks -without knowing their content- out of ISIS enclave towards the east of Euphrates.

And as more people get out of the enclave it rose to 28150 the number of people who have gotten out of the organization’s enclave since early December 2018, of different nationalities of Syria, Iraq Russia, Somalia, Philippine and other Asian nationalities, and about 26100 of them have gotten out after the decision of the American president Trump to withdraw from Syria on the 19th of December 2018, including about 2100 members of the organization of those who infiltrated within the displaced people, and they were arrested after the residents recognized them and reported the security services about their infiltration, and the other group surrendered themselves after they managed to get out of ISIS last enclave, also people of those who fled confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the organization is greatly collapsed, and it cannot resist no more, where the organization depends in repelling the attacks, on the heavily-planted landmines, the booby trapped vehicles and the “suicide bombers”.
