An assassination targets an Egyptian Khatib and fighter raising to 451, the number of citizens, fighters and commanders who were killed in 10 consecutive months

Idlib Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a new assassination in Idlib province, as a part of the ongoing security chaos in it, since the start of the assassinations in late April 2018, where the Syrian Observatory monitored that unidentified gunmen assassinated an Egyptian fighter and Khatib (preacher), nicknamed as Abi Mus’ab Al-Masri, where reliable sources suggested to the Syrian Observatory that the fighter who belongs to Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, and works as the Khatib of a mosque in Sijer town in Idlib countryside, is descended from the upper Egypt, and the targeting caused his instant death, raising to 451, the number of people who were killed at the countryside of Idlib, Aleppo, and Hama, since the 26th of April 2018, the date of starting the security chaos to be escalated in the province, they are the wife of an Uzbek commander and his son, in addition to 116 civilians including 14 children and 8 women, of who were assassinated through bomb explosions, IED detonations, shooting, abduction, murder and then throwing the bodies in remote areas, and 285 fighters of Syrian nationality belong to Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, al-Sham Corps, the Islamic Movement of Ahrar al-Sham, Jaysh al-Izza, and other factions operating in Idlib, and 47 fighters of Somali, Uzbek, Asian, Gulf, Jordanian, Turkish and Caucasian nationalities have been assassinated in the same ways, also the assassination attempts have injured tens of people with varying severity.

And the Syrian Observatory published last night that bombing near Al-Jarrah roundabout in Idlib city, amid ambiguity surrounds its reasons, nature and target, while there are talks about detonating an IED in a building in the city, which caused material damage, without information about casualties caused by the explosion so far, while the SOHR monitored that unidentified gunmen shot a member of the Civil Defense, on the road between the areas of Kafr Nasih and Kafr Karmin, in the western countryside of Aleppo, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago, that a violent explosion was heard in Idlib city, caused by an explosion at the building of the “Prime Minister of the National Rescue Government” near al-Rawdah mosque in the city. Intersected sources told the Syrian Observatory that the explosion was caused by a woman who blew herself up in the area after a shooting occurs in the area, the sources said that it too place between the suicidal woman and guards of the building, which caused casualties, also some of the injuries suffering from serious injuries and the bombing also killed people, where this is the second bombing that hits Idlib city within 12 days, after the previous bombing that took place on the 18th of January 2019, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 27th of January 2019 that escalation of assassinations has completed its 9th consecutive month, where Idlib Province and the areas surrounding it of the Syrian north have suffered during this period since the 26th of April 2018, until the 27th of January 2019, from the assassinations, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored hundreds of assassinations and hundreds of attempted murders, ranging from shooting, kidnapping, killing, strangling, detonating explosive devices, and detonating booby-trapped vehicle, in addition to stabbings within Idlib Province and its surroundings, within areas controlled by the rebel and Islamic and “jihadi” factions, where the Syrian Observatory monitored today Sunday, the 27th of January 2019th death of a man in Idlib city during a raid on his shop by the security force in the city, which is controlled by Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham while they were trying to arrest him, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory from intersected sources: the man was works in his shop during the raid of the security force of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, where the man resisted their attempt to arrest him and tried to throw a grenade on the patrol, but it fell of his hand and immediately exploded, which caused his immediate death.

The SOHR also documented the death of 122 members of ISIS and its cells who have been killed since the end of April 2018, of Syrian, Iraqi, and other non-Syrian nationalities, including at least 62 where executed by slaughtering them or directly shooting them, while the rest were killed during raids and exchange of gunfire between these cells and members of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham in the areas of Salqin, Sarmin, Sahel al-Rouj and several other areas in the countryside of Idlib, after they were arrested previously within the campaign of arrests which targeted tens of persons on charge of these accusations, and which sometimes witnessed violent clashes between members of these cells and members of Tahrir Al-Sham, as well as the executions that used to be carried out directly, or through mass targeting to positions and headquarters of these cells, and this is the first execution to be carried out within the Russian – Turkish demilitarized area, which was specified within the Russian – Turkish agreement that recently reached.
